In particular along Beatty st their use to be some mind blowing stuff along the street walls but has been painted over w/ a bunch of ugly stuff. I'm looking for some spots to photograph but it seems like all the good stuff has been painted over. Thnx.

You also have the spot where lots of bands take photos, movies use it as a backdrop.
The alley between Homer & Richards, between W Hastings & W Cordova.
Google map it, they've gone to the extent to take pictures of the alley.

this place would be a hit or miss spot, but go to lee side, its underneath hastings and cassiar. west of cassiar theres an old abandoned underpass that's been converted by guys into a mini skate park. the walls there are flooded with paintings, they change almost monthly, so its hit or miss...
if you need some help finding spots, you can try checking out some forums such as bombingscience.com, 12ozprophet.com, and puregraffiti.com. sign up, look around, make a few posts, ask around about writers in Vancouver, and find out where some people have recently hit up.
