North Korean media have revealed to the world their country's first 'native' Android Smartphone. Presenting, the locally-built droid with a rather confusing name, the AS1201 Arirang. North Korea media claim that the device uses "indigenous technology." There are suspicions that the device is in fact being built by a Chinese company on contract, but why dig around for something that could dampen a country's pride and shine. Oh, the phone packs stock Android OS, and also comes with a natively produced app on-board.

We are really keen to see adopters of North Korea's own Android phone, considering that the citizens of the country are prohibited from using the Internet.

But Dear Leader, do you intend on attempting to sell these phones outside North Korea? It looks like a copied design, but it actually looks nice.
