I've a feeling they're gonna pull away from the dark, gritty Batman of late and make it a little more lighthearted. I just don't see a "serious" Batman/Superman crossover film working terribly well. While I don't think it'll be as campy as Batman & Robin, I predict it's going to be a very slightly more serious version of how The Avengers was.

Everyone thought Heath Ledger was a horrible casting choice for Joker, how he would never be able to match Jack Nicholson, etc etc ... look how that turned out.

Daredevil was a horrible MOVIE, it's not completely Ben's fault as the actor. I guess we'll just have to see, Superman/Batman won't be out for a year and a half at the earliest.
He has the jaw and chin features, and he could pull off a smooth Bruce Wayne in a suit.

I hope he hits the gym to at least have a decent bulk for Batman, his current frame doesn't exactly impose "ass kicking crime fighter"

I disagree, i thought bale was great and played the role well, especially in batman begins. he is a good actor, and looked the part of batman. Half the battle is looking like the guy ur suppose to play. He looked good in a suit i.e american pyscho, and has that rugged scary built look that can beat up bad guys, with afleck u just dont see that yet.

Don't get me wrong, he did well in Batman and he is an AMAZING actor, but I felt him playing Batman is not much of a challenge acting-wise as compared to a role like Patrick Bateman in American Psycho.

If it weren't for Bale I am sure it wouldn't have been as epic as the series has been, but I feel more of the credit goes to Nolan for story and direction than Bale's acting. If a lesser actor played the same role for Nolan, I think it still would've been very good, just not great.

Following the recent allegation that Ben Affleck had sustained a leg injury that would delay the start of production by six weeks, Warner Bros. just announced that the untitled Man of Steel sequel has been delayed by 10 full months, and the film now shares a 2016 release date with an untitled Marvel Studios film. I'm actually pretty stoked for this. Initially heavyily disappointed about Affleck taking over as the Dark Knight but shit, he looks like he's pulling it off. I wonder what his voice will sound like? As much as I loved Chris Nolan's trilogy I always chuckled at Bale's rough Batman voice.
