I've personally imported this from Asia as PlayAsia stopped carrying it circa 2009 making this a highly sought-after gem. It's SEALED and guaranteed to work with your North American PS3 system.
I played the heavily censored edition on PSN couple years ago but now I'm working full-time with school so I don't have the luxury for a 2nd playthrough.
12 episodes 7 playable characters. Sight-jack is a main feature where you have the perspectives of the Shibitos, aka the reanimated corpses.
English menus/subtitles/audio...only Japanese audio for the Japanese characters...don't worry no horrible dubs.
Scariest game on PS3, period. This version has been banned everywhere except for Japan for good reasons. If you are a fan of the Fatal Frame series, Silent Hill 2 or even Frictional Game's Amnesia/Penumbra series and with Halloween coming this is a no-brainer. Best way to enjoy this is to play in the dark alone with surround headphones.
