The instructor wasn't able to control himself. In the beginning the students friend tells him his name for the second time, and he says "whateva" i though that was funny.

Instructor couldn't execute for shit, even when he knew the student wouldn't loosen up.

Forgot how the belts work in Judo (or Jiu Jitsu, as the sign on the wall would indicate) but isn't the "student" actually ranked higher than the "instructor"?

I'm pretty sure white belt is the lowest rank in all if not most martial arts

i'm assuming he saw the part on wiki that refers to the Kanō's original kyū-dan grading system and didn't skip down to the section on belt colours.

brown belt is higher than blue,

blue the second belt you receive i think

Also in any martial art, when you execute a move it shouldnt matter if the guy is stiff or strong or whatever, the manouver should account for it, so if its a real move its really shittily executed, or just a shit move.
