I had an issue where when I checked out on Hearthstone, it only gave me the option to pay in CDN. But I found a way to purchase with coins on an existing amazon account that is Canadian. What I did was:
1) Delete my address, add in a US one.
2) Went to Your Account -> Your Apps and Devices, then deleted the app and my devices (On the Canadian Site)
3) Went to Your Account -> Manage Your Content and Devices -> Settings, then changed the Country from Canada to United States
4) Redownloaded Hearthstone

Then it worked for me

Chances are this weekend is also going to be 30% off. Usually whenever they have a tournament that is Amazon sponsored the coin back will be more. Not always though.

I played around with Deathwing but it was rarely a factor. It can be a desperation play, but the opponent will usually have a way to deal with it.

You might want to try Varyan Wrynn in there but I don't have it. Could use Gromm too

1) It drew a 1/7 bolvar. I was already losing that match, so just conceded
2) It drew Nexus Champion Saraad. I was already winning that match, so they instant conceded

Played 29 mana in one turn... He was able to activate Gromm too.

If I didn't have Ysera Awakens (also top decked wrath to kill Baron) I would have been fucked.

I won that game in the end, he couldn't take down both Ancients of War.

This dragon druid list has been good, went 11-3 today. 3 losses were to tempo mage, zoo, and shaman which got insane board states that I could never recover from.

And Varian is still just too good. He can singlehandedly win games or turn lost games into wins, especially if he pulls Grommash while I have a Death's Bite ready for lethal or a Sludge Belcher to stop the opponent's lethal.

I did swap out the Eyedis with another Savage Combatant

Game 1 - (Midrange) Shaman - Win 9 turns, first. He got Flametongue from both his Totemics but I was able to keep it under control. Won with combo turn 9
Game 2 - (Midrange) Paladin - Win 6 turns, first. Very aggressive start with Saber and Innervated DOTC. Won by double living roots turn 5, into back to back force of nature turns 6 and 7 going to FACE.
Game 3 - (Control) Dragon Shaman with Healing Wave (?) - Disconnect. Would have been a turn 6 win without his healing wave (which he lost btw but still put him out of lethal). Disconnected either way so there goes my win streak
Game 4 - Fucking miracle rogue? - Win 9 turns, coin. Nearly threw the game thinking that a sapped Saber would be able to have charge (wasn't thinking). Dirty turn 9 combo top dick for lethal. Probably would have won anyway.
Game 5 - (Control) Dragon priest with turn 1 Whelp - Loss 9 turns, first - Was fine until Velens on a Twilight Guardian (flame juggler hitting it might have saved the game), followed by a holy nova clear, followed by a Cabal on my only remaining minion. I doubt this deck can beat that very much.
Game 6 (Midrange) Hunter - Win 7 turns, first - Easy
Game 7 (Midrange) Shaman - Win 7 turns, first - Turn 1 and 2 living roots, a pair of them lasted until turn 6.
Game 8 (Midrange) Paladin with Refreshment Vendor - Win 8 turns, coin - This one was sketchy but once I drew double swipe I went full aggro and won it. If he had a big heal I was toast.
Game 9 (Midrange) Shaman with Zombie Chow - Win 9 turns, first - Roots into POTW
Game 10 - Patron Warrior - Loss, first- Double shield block put him way out of range, and then of course druid can't recover from a board full of patrons. With no draw mechanic and double innervate/swipe in hand, nothing I could do.
Game 11 - (Control) - Dragon Priest with Mass Dispel - Loss, first - Not much can be done against a Blackwing Corruptor that clears your minion, gets power word: shield and then velens, followed by mass fucking dispel on your shredders, followed by a chromaggus with power word shield, followed by lightbomb and then holy nova to get just out of range.
Game 12 - (Control) - Dragon Priest - Loss, first - Hand was Savage Roar, Savage Roar, Innervate so I had to play really greedy against a Sylvanas. It didn't work out.
Game 13 - (Midrange) Paladin - Win 8 turns, coin - Darnassus shines in this matchup, especially if you can remove their minibot with living roots. Flame Juggler finally scored a hit!

Flame juggler hits - 1 for 5
Had coin - 3 out of 13 games (this is normal for me)

That's all for now. I have to say it's a fun way to play Druid! It definitely has its weakness and that's Dragon Priest, which is a shame because that's one of the most popular decks right now. Thankfully it seems to do well against the other most popular deck - Paladin. I'll keep playing this until the MMR fucks me by putting me against 3 more priests in a row...

Game 14 - Patron Warrior - Loss 9 turns, Coin- Tried to rush him down but he got a big armorsmith turn
Game 15 - Handlock Warlock - Win 8 turns, First - Perfect timing on the loatheb turn 8, preventing shadowflame, setting up combo lethal against any taunts he could possibly have.
Game 16 - Dragon Priest Win! 10 turns, Coin - AGAIN. Fucking seriously? It can be done! If you think aggro decks are easy, try this game.
Game 17 - Tempo Mage Loss, 11 turns, Coin - Always a bad matchup for druid, even worse when your hand is swipe, swipe, innervate and shit like that. Tried bluffing combo as he was at 14 health but he didn't bite
Game 18 - Face Hunter Win, 6 turns, First - I put so much pressure on him, he traded with Arcane Golem! Absolutely REKT
Game 19 - Tempo Mage Loss - Mana Wyrm into Flame Cannon into Frostbolt... Fuck this game
Game 20 - Oil Rogue - Win, 8 turns, First - Had to balance keeping his board clean while getting him into combo range by making greedy plays. Played out perfectly as I drew combo turn 9
Game 21 - Dragon Priest with turn 1 whelp AGAIN - Loss FUCK
Game 22 - Mech Mage with cogmaster into annoy-o-tron into annoy-o-tron - Loss this is basically a better version of this druid deck

The MMR has figured this deck out, good luck winning with it now. I'll switch to another deck, and never see another dragon priest or tempo mage now.

Yeah Zombie Chow can wreck you... don't be scared to use Savage Roar for removal on turn 3.

Try to maintain board control and go face! It's easy to top deck lethal with this deck.

Priest is a bad matchup if they get a good draw. Otherwise, just have to control the board and try to end it quickly.

I think that two Savage Combatants is too much because its too situational and normally played on turn 6 or with an Innervate. You need a 3 drop which you can Innervate into on turn 1 or Coin plus Darnassus on turn 1 then follow up with a 3 drop on turn 2.

I'm glad you had fun with it though! I got to Legend 97 with this deck, first time to break the Legend 100s.

I was thinking that too, maybe a Druid of the Flame or a Shade. Looking at my losses, it was always against the high tempo classes that can remove my shit while building their own board even more.

That tempo mage with wyrm into both early removals was disheartening. FeelsBadMan

21-5 so far with this dragon priest, thanks in part to a lot of hunter matches (11 matches, 9 wins). Only weak matchup is warrior (1-3). Tempo Mage and Secrets Paladin can fuck you (5-3 against both those) but a lot of that is luck of the draw. I'm 5-0 in the mirror matchup. Of course there's handlock, but who plays handlock these days? (edit: Oh, the guy who was my rank 5 match with a win streak, with two perfectly timed healbot topdecks... fucking god)

Guess this is my killer list for the month. Fast druid was good for a while but started hitting too many unfavored matchups (and they are way more unfavored than this priest's)

Yea I know :( I really like control warrior though, out of all of my matches I only dropped 1 match when it was my CW against their patron.

What are you using to track your stats? I just started using hearthstats.net but their OSX client sucks so a majority of my matches weren't tracked. Their windows one though is great (I think they forked Hearthstone Deck Tracker and added in uploading to their service)

If you play dragon priest you should be loving the hunter matches! Free wins basically! Mulligan HARD for your 1 and 2 drops. Keep Twilight Guardian if you get one and drop everything else including power word shield and velen's chosen. You NEED your whelp and that 2/4 taunt.

but for my particular dpriest i dont run ysera nor voljin cuz i dont have em... instead i have chillmaw and dr boom. i know alot of ppl run 2x cabal shadow priests but i find they are VERY situational, and rare you get to pair it with shrinkmeister so i subbed one out for KT.

the most fun i have is playing totem shaman, its such a versatile deck i love it...

Even if you get a Haunted Creeper or something, Cabal is basically a 3 for 1. If you get a Mad Scientist, you just killed their scientist, negated a secret play, AND got a 2/2 and a 4/5 all for 6 mana...

Yup it really fucks up with how your opponent plays after turn 6. Mages probably don't have much of a choice either, as they need a good flamewaker to keep the tempo high. Not playing it means you are giving priest the tempo anyway. It's easier on the warrior to just keep holding acolyte until they can get at least one draw with it.

It depends on the meta. Right now your opponents will be 90% secrets paladin, 9% hunter, and 1% other stuff. So build something around that (dragon priest is great)

I think it's best to start the grind about 2 weeks before the end of the season, at the beginning you have to compete with too many high rankers from the previous season and it's tough to get a good win streak going.

Not in a rush to climb the ladder (games are about 15 minutes each), and this is fun to solve puzzles with. There are often many options each turn, so games can go many different ways. Deathlords + brawl is such a strong combo

I love stretching out face hunter and secrets paladin games :troll:

Edit: Of course I start getting queued into counter decks like Druids running fucking Malorne... That is literally the direct counter, and cannot be beat with this deck.

That's almost the same list I use except I run a BGH and a harrison. Games take long but yea they're fun as it requires a lot more thinking.

I do find myself losing to midrange paladins :(

My take on Casino Mage has been doing very well for me. Went on a 8-0 run with it (was 10-0 with the original version before LOE)

Uses some new cards that have often worked out great. Saraad and Conjurer keep up the pressure right when you need it, and then you can drop bombs on them.

Played dreadsteed with Reno up to rank 5, super fun deck that does really well. Went 15-7 with it, but there were at least 2-3 losses (if not more) that were a direct result of me fucking up as I learn the deck.

Love the reaction I get from huntards when I drop Reno on turn 6 and they have to start all over again with an empty hand 4Head

I still play but not as much as I used to. Ladder is just the same shit over and over with no variety, it gets pretty boring.

It's only really variable for a week or so following an expansion. After that, all the OP decks get figured out and you either have to play them, or play their counters. Or just lose all the time

It's not really pay to win. It's pay to play the most variety of meta decks. You can lose with the best decks, and win some with shitty decks.

You'd definitely have to buy a minimum amount of decks to play though
