Looking for a News App that works like Google News, where I can add any news media sources as I please.
Ive tried Flipboard and Pulse News.
Flipboard - Love the layout, but don't like that I can only use western media new sources from their own list.
Pulse News - I can use any news source that I please, but i don't like their layout. I don't like that I need to scroll from side-to-side.

Uhh, BBC News is only ONE news source. Did you read my OP?
Google Currents?
They have pre-existing ones that I can choose. I can't choose news sources like Sina English, or Russia Today, etc.

I set up Feedly (google reader replacement) and set up all my newsfeeds via RSS. Works well.

I use greader
It downloads RSS feeds on wifi for offline reading. It doesn't always work with images but it does the job.
Marks articles read on scroll.
Works with feedlys' online account service.

Try taptu. I used to use pulse too, but switched when they revamped the layout (not a fan).
