But from what I can actually see, it's interesting to see that the DWS gets a poor rating in the "snow". The scores seem to be mediocre across the board as well.

All seasons in the snow and cold (not BC cold) are terrible. If you are going to go with one set of tires, get All weathers.

I have a set of DWS on my TSX and while I haven't driven it in the snow every review I've read about it says how it's very good in the snow and hands down the best in the snow for UHP A/S tires.

I'm running the 4x now and had dws before, from my car I have better traction with the 4x in the rain then dws.

all seasons is good for rainy season though. Had those DWSes on the tail happy first release Sw20 MR2, and felt very safe compared to falken 512's that came with the car.

Yeah 3 seasons is correct.

Remember that if you crash in the winter with all-seasons ICBC can say that its your fault for having improper equipment on your vehicle for the season. Dedicated winters are the way to go.

I am always amazed at people who cheap out on tires, it is literally the only part of your car that connects to the road. therefore they are the four most important safety devices on your car, BUY QUALITY TIRES.

I have a TSX with DWS tires and they do fine in the snow. Of course, I don't drive like an idiot in the snow meaning I drive around 50-60 in city and 100-110 on highway 99.

I've not driven in snow more than twice, so I can't comment how they'll do in their 3-4th year of ownership.

If I'm not mistaken, this is the first test that I've come across of the Michelin A/S 3s in the snow. If it's decent in the snow, it's almost too good to be true as many people have reported their dry traction to be better than a lot of dedicated UHP Summer tires.

Being in very un-snowy but sometimes chilly Victoria the new Michelin looks like it could be the perfect tire for my Miata. I want something with better responsiveness than the DWS but I don't want to give up cold weather performance. Can't wait to hear more about it.

I've got the general g-max as-03 and am tempted to try them in light snow to get a sense of how they perform but I have dedicated blizzaks for a reason.

this isn`t that great for the little snow we get. a friend bought this for his camry and it lasted 2 winters before it wore through the bags. i forget which ski season it was but he tried to go up to one of the ski hills and the police wouldn`t recognize them as being the same as tire chains and sent him back (he was on stock all seasons). once it hits non-snow covered pavement this will start to disintegrate and you have to keep taking it on and off.
