Hey guys,
Looking to study abroad or do some sort of international exchange program. I know most university have their own exchange programs where you can earn credit for your degree, but I was wondering if there are other organizations similar to the JET program.
Any recommendations?
Thanks!

JET and exchange are different though. In JET, you are teaching and getting an income from it. And if i remember correctly, don't JET members require at least a Bachelor degree?
There is TALK in Korea. There is a number of organization in China that also offer 'JET-like' programs.

Yeah, JET does require a bachelor degree.
I haven't herd of TALK before so I'll take a look at it. I have hear some bad stories about some organizations so trying to gage which ones are credible that people have had experince with.

I think you might be confusing student exchange with getting a job teaching English.
If you want to study overseas I'm pretty sure it has to go through your school.

spot on.
I thought about exchange in the past and looked into the UBC Go Global program. It's the one to consult with if you're at UBC. Not sure about programs in other universities.
JET is for teaching english and getting paid for doing it. An exchange is where you study abroad in another university.

You can always be a visiting student by paying their international fees
