i can't search right now (supposedly working right now), but i think NFS has their own channel and there was footage from a few months back during filming showing the cars doing high-speed runs together. some of the lambos are tube-framed fiberglass replicas and there was at least one lambo being used as a camera car... i think i found the link on jalopnik.

I'm not expecting it to be as good as FnF series.
Maybe something on par with the movie "Redline", with just mindless racing.

But I'm expecting the racing scenes to be quite good.
I admit, NFS has really good trailers with the racing scenes, but too bad their games aren't all that good.

when cars flip in films, they do it by utilizing a booster (a metal pole that shoots down to give the car lift to flip it) - now, i think i learnt this from mythbusters or something like that, but now, every time i see a film with a car flip, i ALWAYS see the metal pole fly off - why can't they just CGI it out, are film goers that dumb that they wouldn't notice it?

anyway, that film will have a dozen flipped cars, and a dozen times where i see the pole, and it will totally annoy me!! (i am weird, this isn't news to me)

that film looks like a TOTAL waste of money - fact.

i dont like F&F movies and its pretty simple.. the movie isnt about cars anymore! first one was good regardless of bad acting and bad story line because the movie revolved around cars and the style of that time..

i dont wanna get to far into it, but as an action movie its good, car movie, new ones blow.. especially 4! that garbage off the muscle cars and the STI in the tunnel.. i wanted to tear my eyes out.

if this need for speed movie is actually good i would hate for it to succumb to the same fate..

The trailer reminds me of Redline from a few years back, which is just about the worst car flick of all time..but we'll have to wait and see.
