Couple guys on a Jeep board are actually pretty stoked about the Renegade, apparently the Fiat Panda it's based on is a pretty skookum little 4x4. Personally, I think it looks like a Patriot knocked up a Kia Soul...

I like it, with the caveat earlier of drivetrain choice. Let's face it, in it's class you could do a lot worse. Reminds me of a modern-day Samurai. I like where Jeep is going (exclusion listed at end of paragraph) and heck I even like the new Cherokee Trailhawk. Honestly I hope they sell a ton of them. That way they will keep their grubby hands off the Wrangler for a few more years before we inevitably see an IFS Rubicon...
