I'm guessing if u have some footage of avoiding an accident like that and are able to get a plate # in the real world u shouldn't be at fault.

That serious accident was caused by a left lane hogger. He caused faster traffic to pass unsafely on the right.

^the one that I have records in upscaled 1080p costed $60 from an RS member, eBay ones are like $30 but I've heard of them lasting a mere couple of months and you can barely see the license plate number. The true 1080p ones are like $200 iirc

Agreed here. If the driver ahead of you comes to a complete stop at the stop line before the light turns from yellow to red, it's an unsafe stop. However, in the eyes of the insurance companies, when you rear-ended a driver in the situation above, you are at fault for following too closely... :suspicious:

I haven't yet heard a good outcome for the driver who did the rear-ending in similar situation.
