All Macau citizens will receive MOP9,000 (approx. $1350cdn) cash in 2014. Senior people over 65 will get MOP16,000 ($2130cdn). Income tax will be reduced 30%, even it is now at ridiculously 4% of your total income, and no rent for public housing.

They have been giving out cash 7yrs in a row, now that's the communist I like.

Wasn't it last year's:
- $8000 MOP Pernament residents
- $4800 MOP Non-Permanent
- $6600 MOP Seniors

That's quite an increase for seniors to 16k...

It's because they have to put up with gamblers making up 90% of the population, smoking and throwing garbage everywhere :lawl:

When the whole industry/economy is based on the legitimization of organised crime and the taxation thereon, this type of offering is the least the Macao Government could do. It's a very interesting topic which I follow closely.

macau is not that great of a place since the goverment is quite lazy in a way, but i always envy the people there when they get free money every year, lower tax rate & public house for people that cant afford them

& yet in hk we cant any of that stuff moving

also yes this thread is now revscene.co.hk now
