What's everyone's biggest annoyance when driving? Is is slow drivers in the left lane? People who leave the turn signal on? Speeders? Other drivers who are incapable of judging the speed of other cars on the road and blindly turn in front of them?



For me, while there are obviously a dozen annoyances on the road that piss me off, the one action that frustrates me the most are people who seem incapable of judging the speed of other drivers on the road. Far too often will I be driving along, when someone pulls out from the slow lane or a side street and merges right in front of me, forcing me to often put my brakes to the test. It wasn't much of an issue when I was driving smaller cars with upgraded brakes, but now that I'm driving an almost stock SUV with merely mediocre brakes, it becomes that much more dangerous. I'm usually a pretty defensive driver and try to keep an eye out for people looking to make a move such as this, but sometimes it's not possible all the time and those instances are when it becomes a danger to both myself and the other driver involved.

I hate this, too.

It might make me seem like an asshole, but if another driver wants to go into my lane (expecting me to yield to them, basically edging their vehicle into my lane) and doesn't use their signal lights or hand signal I will absolutely not let them in. I don't care if we were at a stop (red light) or not...

Drivers who when they turn right, they don't turn into the curb first. They go straight from the lane of traffic into a right-turn. This interrupts the flow of traffic behind them by making them brake to avoid crashing into them:

When you turn right, turn into the curb lane, then execute your right turn. This way, the traffic behind you does not need to brake.

For me, drivers who brake for no damn reason. If I am behind you and you make me brake when there are no cars or anything in front of you, that pretty much means I will find a way to pass you.

The most common one are drivers who hog the left lane. Doesn't matter how fast you are driving, if someone is going faster, have the courtesy to change lanes and let them pass.

- Can't maintain speed
- Can't park (Not sure how you pass your driver's test if you can't do this)

When oblivious drivers stop to let illegal jaywalkers cross, regardless of weather or age or if they're carrying bags. Unless you're the only car sure, if you're not then check your mirrors before being that nice guy causing a rearend.
