Anyone own or can suggest a tower heater & fan combo?

Ideally the dyson sorcery is great, but i'm not willing to fork over $450.

The fan should be cool enough to cool a small bedroom in the summer by providing the similar output of a pure fan.

The heater should be warm enough to heat up a small bedroom in the winter by operating as a portable electrical heater.

A remote would be ideal and a timer (ie. turn off in 30mins by itself) would also be idea.

I have no idea where to even start looking. Local / online does not matter.

The dyson has crappy output. better to get 2 separate units.

agreed. Dyson has a nice concept but the power of hot and cold is too weak and not worth the price. Definitely better off buying 2 separate units.

might not help much as this is only a heater,,

bought this for ground floor as its sitting on concrete and base board is behind couch (which doesn't heat the room)..
works well, comes with remote and has 3 settings... (hi,low. auto)...

Decor Glass Panel Heater (http://auraheater.com/Decor_Glass_Panel_Heater.html)

i did alot or research, buying one unit to do completely two opposite jobs isn't the greatest idea , cause both work on totally two opposite temp spectrum, thus causing more stress on the unit.

so what if it has stress on the unit? isn't it built to serve the dual purpose.

do educate me ..

i still haven't found anything :(

You have no fond anything because dyson is the only one that makes one.
