| Help picking wireless headphone
I'm looking at either the sennheiser rs160 or the sony mdrds6500. Looks like the sony have more function but I like how the rs160 is portable. Anyone used these? I haven't tried them yet but might go check them out. Thanks. Posted via RS Mobile |

im using the ps3 pulse headset.. its quite good actually. only annoying part is the bass. it has this really weird rumble to it when put up too high but other than that its ok. i opted for the little more expensive one simply because it doesnt have the protruding mic which i HATE. lol.

think id still go with the sennheisers though read some reviews and check out this forum Sennheiser RS160, 170 ,180... Anyone? Sennheiser RS 160 Review | Headphones | CNET UK
id post threads for the sony but there doesn't really seem to be any by far the senns seem to be far more popular
just a note to Xplicit people find the Sony 6500s better than the Pulse even for gaming so may want to consider it instead

Thanks stylinred I've decided to go with the rs160. The sony feels too cheap with all the plastic and makes sound when it flexes. Posted via RS Mobile |

Dont get the ps3 pulse until they make a new one, design flaw near the ears. Cracking and loose.

I've really enjoyed my Turtle Beach X31 (I think thats the model). They were going for over $200 when they were new, I think you can find them now for much cheaper.
Only bad part is they dont use a battery pack so you end up swapping 2 AAA batteries every so often....and the life of them is not great. A couple good stints on some COD will drain them almost dead.

My primary headphones on my PC for gaming are audio technica M50's and a cheap dollar store desktop mic that actually cost a dollar lol. Amazon.com: Audio-Technica ATH-M50 Professional Studio Monitor Headphones with Coiled Cable: Musical Instruments
Slightly out of your price range but look around and you should be able to find them in the $100 mark.
