go to bcrdukes' house
he'll talk down to you, give you shitty service, and the i6 on one of his vintage italian speedmachines threw a rod so its out of the car right now -- ask him for the cylinder-2 french press. The taste is dericious.

The only place that I can think that's some what close (but not really) is a place called Laughing Bean but that's more like on east hastings and renfrew.

I like Waves coffee. Good caramel macchiatos and frapp.
They are all over the place.
Commercial and e 3rd.
Downtown has one on Robson and Cambie and one on Howe and Smithe.
Burnaby has two on Kingsway, one east of patterson and another on Edmonds.
Richmond has one on #3rd north of Westminster hwy where the London Drugs is.
