A blast from the past I stumbled on today. Who remembers this?!

https://www.clearlycanadian.com/

Once they get 25,000 orders, they will kick start production.

If this happens someone better send me a bottle of Mountain Blackberry! God I loved that stuff

Edit: Oh they have international shipping :considered:

We sold a lot of this at our gas station back in the day. Too bad the price is to high for us to sell this in our store.

I remember this! I liked the blackberry but prefer cold tap water over any bottled water drink ;)

Mountain blackberry was the best!

Just noticed pricing is different for international. $35/case for 12 bottles for Can/us. $45 for international.

$10 extra shipping seems pretty reasonable to me!

I always liked the strawberry, I wonder if it will taste the same tho? it seems like when they always bring back something it's never the same from what it was.

I'd drink this over bubble tea any day. I never understood people who would pay >5$ for a beverage that had no alcohol on it. /alcoholic

Man I totally remember this stuff, I drank it all the time! Gonna have to order some...

The price seems high but keep in mind you're paying mostly for shipping a case @17 lbs. Sure it could be cheaper in store, but honestly, places selling the retro all natural sodas (ie Hasty Market) are close to that price anyways. Definitely worth the throwback taste!

Loved this stuff as well, but not sure if I would pay $3/bottle though. I actually still have an unopened bottle from ~1991. :)

I loved these drinks back in the day. They were similar to the New York Seltzers. I'd always get my mom to buy a 6 pack when we were grocery shopping.

I'd be afraid of this. Or maybe even my taste buds are different now and I don't even like it anymore.

This reminds me of Canadian Splash flavored water. I used to drink it as a kid in the mid-90s.

orbitz = yuckstew. texture is a big deciding factor on what I consume and tapioca-type balls sliding down my throat while trying to quench my thirst is just nasty to me.

How do you feel about aloe with the bits in it?

Drinking anything with chunks in it is like reverse vomiting

But you chew the stuff right? I chew the aloe bits when i drink it. So its like drinking soup or something with stuff in it. Like drinking miso soup and chewing the seaweed or tofu.

Cant comment on orbitz though, dont remember how it tasted etc, maybe only had it like once.

I just don't like the combination of liquid + chunks. If I want to eat something, I want it to be something I bite on and chew. If I want to drink something, I want it to be liquid.. I'm not a picky eater by any stretch, but this is my preference. I don't like things like orbitz, aloe drinks with chunks, soup with chunks in it (I will usually eat the chunks first then drink the soup) bubble tea, etc. Though I do like pulp in my orange juice so who knows :fuckthatshit:

Super Socco on sports days in elementary was the best!

Not quite as old school but I miss Vanilla Coke. I had a serious addiction in the late 90's/early 2000's and would buy cases of the stuff. I can't seem to find it locally anymore. Based on my prior usage the unavailability is probably a good thing. LOL!
