: Where to get my canopy repaired?

My canopy is in need of some TLC and was wondering if anyone knows a shop that does work on canopies? Cap-It in Coquitlam is useless, tried that once.

Basically, I need some rivets replaced (and some are the special flush mounted ones on the window), something to prevent the glass from sliding side-to-side, the rear window rubber is coming out that holds it in place, plus I need new prop cylinders.

Please and thanks

Ian

My google fu suggestion would be the canopy store in langley

www.canopystore.ca

Hopefully others with some experience in getting their canopies repaired cam chime in.

^ Thanks. I saw that as well on google - was hoping someone had a personal anecdote/recommendation.

get your pistons for the door from princess auto they have every size, i got my last set from them and theyve lasted over a year so far, rivets do them yourself?

^ I'm thinking by the time I buy the special rivets for the door and whatever gun mounts them (there are only two rivets and they are tiny) - plus another large rivet gun for the round head rivets at the back, I could probably pay someone to do it a few times. I don't play with glass, either.

I'll check Princess Auto - thanks

I got the cylinders at Princess Auto - same brand/model that came out of my canopy.

No, I haven't had the time to make the calls last week.

I just saw this, when we cleaned out our garage last I found an old small rivet gun. The box even had some rivets in it. I am sure I kept it.

I'll see if I can find it sometime this week and I will PM you or post pictures. Maybe if it looks like it could work we can work something out and fix the canopy...

^ Thanks for the offer. The small rivets are a flush mount rivet for the side window - which I can't find. The rear window needs some massive rivets and my neighbours gun is too small for those
