other than VLC.

what's second best?

reason for asking is, i have my home theatre setup to my computer. the audio is using a TOSLINK cable...

something about toslink not doing 5.1 or some technical crap i cant really understand.

but if i use AC3 filter, i can get 5.1 to come out just fine.

the problem is VLC doesn't use plugins that arent by VLC... which is kinda retarded.

anyway, i don't like using windows media player cuz it's retarded.

what player works with AC3? advice? yeah?

I use KMPlayer

KMPlayer ? Multimedia Player (http://www.kmpmedia.net/)

Plays alot of formats that most players don't support. Has a shit ton of features that go above and beyond most major media player apps

Oh, and on a side note: The newer versions now have stupid ads. You can turn it off. I forgot how, but just googled it and it worked.
