: Quick question about laptop

Hi there

I just won a laptop from Asia and the power adapter is 2 prong. See the actual picture below. May I know which adapter I should get to make it work in Vancouver.

the little box/brick converts the power in your house to power that your laptop can accept -- as long as the power adaptor reads 110-240V (Which most do, btw) you can just take the plug that goes into the wall off any power adaptor you have at home (it's a universal style) and just plug it into the brick

Looks to be a Korean two prong plug. You can just buy an adapter that converts the two prongs to the NA two prongs.

+1 - you can find these everywhere - RP, Main, probably Home Depot, Home Hardware, Rona... can also likely find them at Sally-Ann and other goodwill/second-hand stores as they're very common for radios and other devices.
