Imac backup help
I need some help/suggestions for performing backups on my imac. I have 2 external hard drives and planning on using one for all my data files. Using the 2nd external for backup of the 1st external drive. This way, if something happens to one of the externals, I will still have a complete backup of the files. Are there any programs to "clone" the drives?
I use Carbon Copy Cloner. It's not free anymore, but worth the $30 or so. I think it's free if you still use Snow Leopard and older versions of OSX though. You can use Timemachine, but I don't think you can make a bootable disc with it.

Time Machine is the best backup tool out there, but Time Machine does not back up external drives. It only backs up the Mac's internal drive I believe.
