STOP BILL C-51 ! - YouTube

Growing food should present no legal problems. You plant seeds, care for the plants, harvest the food, then save some seeds for the next year. Right?

Not anymore. Big agribusinesses are enclosing the seed commons. Seed ownership has become complex, littered with regulation, copyright issues, forgery charges and corporate manipulation.

The following video gives a brief overview of the current “crazy seed situation” in Europe. Created by the Open Solutions Project, the video uses talking (and singing) potato people to explain the barriers that prevent growers from saving and re-sowing seeds. It also shines a light on a sane solution to the problem: public domain seeds

I'm surprised you haven't started a new thread about the fair election act.

That's actually something we can all get behind (not saying this isn't either).

That's actually something we can all get behind (not saying this isn't either).I didnt know about this but voting is meaningless. For example was there a candidate that would stay out of our current war? No. ... and on top of that it is a war that was perpetrated because of a false flag operation on Sept 11.

I like to see what the "patriots" opposing me in the Ukraine thread have to say about laws being passed for restrictions of saving seeds are.

In a past thread Ive already proven how the Queen is technically the actual head of state ruling over Canada... and how those kind of powers were used to dissolve the elected Australian prime minister for not wanting to join the Vietnamese colonial wars at the time.
Well there are even bigger players behind the Queen, these powers that control us also created and controlled the Bolsheviks who purposely starved millions up on millions of Caucasians in Russia.
History repeats its self, have a look at the seed restrictions our rulers implemented then.

Lies. This bill doesn't prevent me from growing the crop of my choice, harvesting it and setting aside a portion a seeds for next year.

UPOV 78 never gave farmers the right to sell the seed. In fact, it's never been legal. Also, 78 also doesn't actually allow farmers to reseed their own growth. UPOV 91 is written up in a manner that gives legal rights to farmers to replant their own seeds from their own selected production runs.

Too bad if you plant them they don't develop into anything. ;)
