Be careful on the roads. It's actually statistically significant that people crash more in the days afterwards.

sigh I already didn't sleep well last night and now I will lose one hour of sleep.......
It's time (no pun intended) to join Manitoba and say no to time change.
Good news is, the clock in my garage will be nsync again. Never could figure out how to change it, LOLOLOLOLOLOL.

Because the clocks go forward 1 hour tonight, does that mean the night clubs close earlier?

Don't think so, otherwise argument could be made for when the clocks fall back 1 hour that they'd stay open an extra hour.

Funny how everyone complains. On the bright side, days are longer, and sun won't go down at 5 pm. I personally hate short days.

Hour doesnt seem like much but add a baby to that equation and it messes everything up..lol..im still messed up..lol
Funny how everyone complains. On the bright side, days are longer, and sun won't go down at 5 pm. I personally hate short days. The sun wouldn't go down at 5 PM, anyways. It's equinox in less than 2 weeks, meaning 12 hours of daylight.
Without DST, it would be roughly 6 AM - 6 PM sunlight (varying a bit depending on actual location within the time zone) on the equinox. With DST, it's 7 AM - 7 PM.
That said, I don't mind it. It means that when I work an 8-4 shift, I have time to do a full 18 after work through most of the summer even if we get stuck behind a brutally slow group. Without DST, we'd definitely have to cut it down to 9 holes in August and September.

I'll take the extra hour of light in the evenings any day of the year.
