Mobiles 'cooking the brain'; brain tumors become children's number one killer illness; and leaked industry memo admits 'wargaming' the science. Seek truth from facts with former senior White House adviser Devra Davis, Storyleak editor Anthony Gucciardi, 'cell phone survivor' Bret Bocook, Microwave News editor Louis Slesin, top radiation biologist Dariusz Leszczynski, and Ellie Marks, whose husband Alan's suing the industry for his brain tumor.

Funny how they just say, "Hey, Person X used a cellphone on the right side of his head and, behold, he happened to have a tumour there!" There's no presentation of actual proof that the cause and effect are one and the same. The Granger causality test is strong in this piece and, as usual, shows how severely limited it is.

Have brain tumors sky rocketed in the United States? Does the position of the tumors correlate to the hand in which the users hold a cell phone?
And most importantly would the industry release this kind of information?
Well we've seen shill doctors promoting cigarettes in past commercials when the powers that be knew they were cancer causing before hand... who's to say today's any different when the medical industry is so tainted.

Unequivocally, CiC is an idiot.
Why aren't people getting tumors in their hands? People are always texting with their cell phones, placing the RF emissions right beside their hands. So where are all the people with hand tumors?
In fact, I'd bet cold, hard cash that todays cellphone spends far more time in your hands texting or browsing then it does beside your head.

Not that I believe this crap, but who here would give up their cell phone if it was proven to increase the chance of cancer by say, 30 percent? Just curious.

The amount of radiowaves and microwaves we are exposed to are enormous at this day and age. With everything becoming wireless, who can really pinpoint which device are causing us harm. Bluetooth, wifi, radio towers.. we should consider when is it actually necessary to go wireless or not. Say if I'm right next to the stereo. Is it really necessary for me to use a wireless headphone?
For those who have heard and use Electromagnetic Chaos eliminator. Does it actually work for you or is it just another gimmick.

It doesn't just have to be plugged into the ground socket to eliminate EM energy. To "eliminate" electromagnetic (EM) energy (I refuse to call it "chaos" because I don't believe EM energy to be chaotic, its actually very well defined) you would have to build a grounded metal box around the thing that transmits/receives EM energy. Basically building a "Faraday Cage".
Now who wants to buy a $700 phone to put it in a metal box and never use it?
So yes, those stupid as stickers are just that, stickers. And if you paid for it then :lawl:

You should stop talking out of your ass. Radiation affects cells differently. Cells that actively reproduce (like white blood cells) are most susceptible to damage from radiation. Want to know what parts of the body are LEAST susceptible? Nerves, muscle and brain cells. That's right, brain cells are on the bottom of the list. Skin cells are in the middle.
BTW, this is for ionising radiation (one of only a VERY SMALL number of issues that are known to pose a risk for brain tumours). Non-ionising radiation is the type emitted by cell phones and similar devices.
Perhaps you should learn a bit before spewing a bunch of garbage that only serves to solidify the opinion pretty much everyone on RS has of you.

Grade 9 students tested effects of Wi-Fi on plants: Their results were alarming

t turns out the girls fatigue may not be due solely to late night web surfing of Twitter conversations, because results of the growth experiment were obvious and striking: the seeds from the radiation free room had sprouted and were lush and green, while the trays exposed to the router held almost exclusively dead seedlings.

A decade ago I was doing a house call to setup internet for a client... the first thing I noticed was that the one WiFi router was placed next to a young girls bed... less then two feet away from her pillow.
The uneducated workers from Shaw obviously were (and still are) oblivious to wireless radiation as Canadians are today.
I warned the dad but I dont think he took it as serious... his biggest concern was that I dont slip on his snowy driveway and sue.

I don't think this article qualifies as any sort of evidence against cell phone radiation. For all we we know the teacher could have been spraying CLR on the plants every day before she left the classroom. If you believe this I strongly urge you to do this simple experiment yourself.
Always keep in mind there is a ton of money to be made by picking a stance against something and strategically "putting pieces together" to make it seem like you are proving your point.

Reading the article again, they put the plants in different locations (fail #1) and didn't shield them (fail #2). It's a neat school project but hardly conclusive science. And then there's this:
The experiment was sparked by the girls’ observations of how they felt after sleeping with wi-fi devices nearby, most commonly near their heads on bedside tables. They remarked that they felt sluggish and tired even after a full night’s sleep if devices were nearby, even in sleep-mode, with several girls report having “difficulty concentrating.”
Presumably they were on those wifi devices prior to going to sleep, and looking at computer/phone screens prior to going to sleep is known to lead to a less restful sleep.

On the subject of EMF, my brother and I have personally felt the beneficial effects of grounding\earthing and have been doing it for years now. You can actually measure how many volts you carry in different parts of the house... but once you ground yourself it drains the charge from your body... its shown that red blood cells clump together when you have a charge, but when neutral as nature intended, your blood cells separate and are able to reach all of your bodies cells through the smallest of veins.
There are in-depth videos about it.

First, nobody click this link.... Google chrome message: "The Website Ahead Contains Malware! Google Chrome has blocked access to disclose.tv for now" so heads up.
I understand that the documentary probably doesn't have anything to do with the site itself but this only helps me make my point. Say I overlooked that and just watched the short clip you posted about smart meters.... The first thing I would notice is that damn narrator. That's always the first queue that somethings wrong. You can just feel the bias vibrating in your ears. Word for word it starts off: “While industry has failed to do ANY pure reviewed studies on smart meters and health effects”. Hear the emphasis he put into the word "any"? What about use of the word industry? Industry as in Companies? How can they say companies that create these products don't do ANY studies? People pay these companies for products. If these products started making people sick these companies would be ruined.
I'll conclude with... there is a huge movement against smart meters therefore there is A LOT of money to be made.
If you're deeply concerned, start running your own tests.
Never heard about grounding / earthing before. I won't be quick to judge, i'll check it out!
