Shout out the NR! for getting this sub-forum established and operational! Was going to initially post this in the members journal sub-forum, but it seemed a lot of people on there found my last bike journal rather irrelevant. Only makes sense since this is predominantly a car forum and the fact is I haven't built a car in over 3 years since I jumped ship.

Bike build thread seem a lot more suited for this sub-forum. I'm certain it peaks more interest as more people can relate.

So I just sold the Duc last month. She's treated me well, but its time to move onto others things, especially if these other things will vastly aid me in further improving my riding skills. I didn't waste anytime, within 3 days after the sale of my bike, I picked this one up off craigslist.

A 2009 Kawasaki ZX-6R in the iconic Kawasaki lime green. It just broke 7000kms. I've ridden Suzukis, Hondas and Ducatis, now truth be told I've been wanting to hop on a Kawi for a while. Renown for their peaky screaming motors, and strong brakes out of the box (for a supersport anyways, I think my 1098 raised he bar rather high: 330mm floating discs with Brembo 4 Pot Monoblocks hngg). I wanted to see what all the rave was about.

I had the choice of getting the '13 model, but my heart's been set on this generation (09-12) zx-6r for specific reasons.

I have quite the Christmas list of goodies coming in for this bike, and the small items have just begun to trickle in. I don't want to give out the full list at once, but the bigger "spendy" parts are made to order so I'll post them up as they come in, maybe some teasers most likely end of this month. I've given myself until early May to get this thing ready for the season down South of the border.

In the mean time I'll just post up what I've done so far. I'm keeping it streetable, I'm not a club racer just a very avid track day goer. I may throw race bodywork on it down the road and just graft a headlight onto it if I don't go with cheap Chinese fairings again. Want it streetable so I can still boot around town and enjoy the social aspects of riding. As much of a blast shredding pavement is, who doesn't like going to the beach, picking up chicks and the occasional hard parking at Starbucks. :hotbaby:

I purchased the bike with a couple of items on there from the previous owner:)
-Steel Braided Lines (just saved me the trouble from replacing, ty!)
-Fender eliminator
-Integrated Tail
-Pazzo black shorties w/ red adjusters, which I'm replacing (if anyone's interested in buying they fit 07-14 ZX6R)
-M4 GP slip-on

First time on the operating table :lol

Ugly Halogens gotta go! Just a 35 watt DDM kit, burn rate is 6000k.

Tested out with no issues! Bit a pain to find a permanent place for the ballast though. The ballast is still not completely fitted but I will find a remedy when I take the nose cone section off to install my suspension
https://scontent-sea1-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xfa1/v/t1.0-9/1891242_10152342682406474_1648883065_n.jpg?oh=5716 561b7c5d5b6a16ef1125908519a6&oe=55EBE33E

Stomp Grips! These things work wonders, I've ran both tech specs and these. Tech specs are great for the street as they adhere better to jeans but I had to switch them out after the first track season. The Stomp grips just work better with my leathers, especially the material located on the inner thigh of my 1 piece.
https://scontent-sea1-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xpf1/v/t1.0-9/10001545_10152370512536474_1958084551_n.jpg?oh=d55 6f957eb87975c7f6b1bbdac648a27&oe=55EFD342

There actually is a trick to installing these successfully without any air bubbles. The answer is a simple blow dryer and tennis ball. One to heat up the adhesive, and the other to even apply the tank grip while pushing out any potential air bubbles.

Finished! Install roughly took 20-25 minutes each side

i think the biggest difference isnt the smaller motor, but the fact that it's a silky smooth i-4 as opposed to a giant lazy v-twin. no power down low on the 4 cyl but its gonna be a beast on the track.

I did, the 1098 was the bike I just sold. It's really on par with what CharlieH said, the smaller cc bike is much more agile and my initial impression was how easy and effortless it was to tip the bike in and flick it back and forth. Grant you the 600 provides a different kind of fun, the nimbleness and manageable power makes it a lot less work to ride fast. You're not constantly wrestling the bike like you would on a 1000cc and you're not as easily susceptible to body fatigue as quick. The 600 also provides more usable power so I can be much more generous with the throttle instead of feathering it like I would on a liter bike in fear of breaking traction out the corners. If you give too much gas too quick on a liter bike, the rear tends to squirm on you. It's nice to be able to attentively focus when pushing the bike hard, instead of riding in fear of it.

that being said, on the street it probably matters little. I would prefer to have a 1000cc for the street as they're gobs of fun. The off the line power, and stability of a liter bike at highway speeds make them great for the road.

I thought I would be power hungry after making the switch, but so far this bike's been keeping a grin on my face. I didn't miss the low end torque as much as I thought I would.

The Suzuki I've ridden previously was a '05 gsx-r 750, that also happened to be my first bike. It was a lot of fun, and a happy medium between a full blown 1000cc superbike and a 600cc supersport. Didn't have to downshift to overtake and pass people, and noticeably more stable at high speeds than a 600.

Had the time to do some test fitting tonight, say goodbye to the oem rearsets! Oh and its true that once you go with aftermarket rearsets for the first time it's difficult to go back.

The pair I had on my last bike were Lightechs, decided to try something different this time around, went with a beautifully CNC'd set of rearsets from Sato Racing.

The reason for changing out perfectly functional oem rearsets? For me there's a few major reasons:
-fixed pegs of aftermarket rearsets offer much better rider feel and feed back of what the bike is doing
-the pegs are more aggressively machined, it almost zero's any chance of your foot slipping off when transitioning or setting up for turns
-fixed pegs add extra protection and acts as a secondary slider for when your bike goes down, provides extra ground clearance minimizing body damage
-increased adjustability allows me to position the foot pegs much more aggressively, provides extra ground clearance in full lean.
-utilization of ball bearing joints

^ the last reason also happens to be the most important of the 5. Most aftermarket rearset companies utilize ball bearing joints in the hinge areas of the levers. How is this useful? Well in the event of a crash (I've even seen this happen from a tip over) the stock shift levers, if bent even slightly at the hinge area, will seize. Ball bearing joints on the other hand don't. This could make or break a track if you lay your bike down early on the in morning. Even if you did bring spare parts, it could also be the difference between waiting track side for your bike to get picked up and eventually brought back to the pits for you, or just being able to pick up your bike and ride back to the pit immediately after your crash. They only pick up bikes twice a day, so you're gg'd if you dump your bike early in the morning, or mid-late afternoon.

Here's everything laid out!
https://scontent-sea1-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xpa1/v/t1.0-9/1527031_10152377424861474_2004580066_n.jpg?oh=3098 d950876e0660dcf920f70fc3aac3&oe=55F4F8FA

Everything has just been hand tightened until I figure out how aggressively I want the pegs to be positioned. Remember, always use loctite!
https://scontent-sea1-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xap1/v/t1.0-9/10001543_10152377427131474_1635102507_n.jpg?oh=8da 2e82c6180741a7b9f3d9a6b7674d1&oe=560C1629

Rotated my shift arm from bottom to top. Finally took the plunge and went with a GP shift pattern (this reverses the shift pattern). It will take some getting used to initially, but will benefit me in mid corner/out of apex up shifts. To shift up, I simply now step down, and to downshift, I lift the lever up. Up shifts will be even more seamless when I install the Bazzaz Quick Shift unit to use in conjunction with the set up. Essentially clutchless up shifts where I can leave the throttle wide open. It operates through a piggy back unit and a sensor in the shift rod that cuts the ignition for a few milliseconds when it senses movement.

I stand by woodcraft products, these are hands down the best frame sliders in my opinion. I've tested them on a different bike and do they ever hold up, cut frame sliders all the way. The issue with no-cut frame sliders is the weak point tends to be at brackets. These brackets are designed to offset the slider puck, so you don't have to modify your fairings, but that doesn't come without compromise. I've seen countless bent brackets from no-cut kits even from minor tip overs. In the event of a parking lot tip over, I'm sure no-cuts will hold up fine, but nothing will be as robust as a frame slider that utilizes your engine bolt as the main mounting point. Some of the woodcraft kits are no-cut, but that only comes as coincidence if the engine bolts happen to line up with the vents in your fairings.

Fun fact: the owner Eric Wood is a retired racer, and he developed and engineered his products with priority of racers in mind. It's always been function over form. All of his company's product line is designed to be as robust as possible and to make track side repairs as easy and simple as possible. (hence the bolts that mount the frame sliders are located perpendicular to the puck rather than the conventional through the puck design) When your slider is grind down to a pulp, its much easier to access the bolt from the side of the puck to remove the damaged unit.

Raid3n

Easier to shift under race conditions if I understand correctly. Easier to pull up to shift down under breaking, and press down to shift up under acceleration

Benefit comes at being able to up-shift out of corners easier instead of having to dig for the shifter with your foot. Sometimes you run out of rpm's before the bike is completely upright again out the apex of corners and having a gp shift pattern helps.

The bikes in motogp are actually able to up-shift IN mid corner with their seamless transmissions. It doesn't upset the geometry of the bike/unsettle the suspension, its pretty nuts what those machines can do.

Also got some proper sized levers in, I need more leverage than 2 brake fingers down a straight away. Plus they are folding magnesium, lessens the chance of breaking off in a crash.

nice work on the dremel, how long it take?

What would you use for something that you have a cut a hole into (yours is only part cut)

Im thinking just drill smaller hole and dremel the rest, given how clean yours looks

fT-z33wor

My mech actually did the installation and dremel work for me this time. I didn't want to touch the engine bolt when installing these sliders cause if the engine shifts out of place, its easy to tear out the threads when reinstalling the bolt.

Last time when I drilled out the holes for my fairings on my 1098 it took me about 20 minutes each side, I think it was on par with what my mech spent on it today. My 1098 fairings are a prime example of what you are asking. I used a sharpened punch to insert into the frame slider base once it was secured, then test fitted the fairing back on the bike, and applied pressure on the area of the fairing that sits over the sharpened punch.

This leaves an impression/mark of exactly where the slider puck will be going on top of, then drill a pilot hole where the indent mark is using a small sized drill bit. Remember to tape up the area you want drill using painters tape (to prevent paint from flaking off) and then find a stead surface to put the fairing down on, and finish the job with this tool.

(these come in many different sizes, so make sure its just slightly larger in diameter than your slider puck)

Ok this is gonna be along one haha :lol Finally getting around to tackling the installation of my quick turn throttle kit from Euro Racing and Woodcraft clip-ons.

Essentially the aftermarket clip ons give you better length and angle adjustments, a big improvement over stock handle bar positions aka. T-rex position with your hands all angled up front. The longer bars will give me added leverage to muscle the bike around between left/right transitions. It also makes track side repairs exponentially easier as the handle bars are now a 3 piece unit and the bars can be changed out easily.

The quick turn throttle? Well that is exactly what the name say it is. The kit come with an aftermarket throttle tube, throttle cables, throttle housing and 3 different sized cam profiles that reduce the throw by 1/4 turn, 1/2 turn and all the way up to 3/4 turn. This is my second throttle kit and once you ride with one of these its difficult to go back settling for a stock throttle. It drastically reduces the throw of the throttle so you can hit WOT/wide open throttle with much less wrist movement. It's annoying having to grab two handfuls of throttle when coming down the straight aways on track days, and this unit will allow you to have better drive out of corners as you're able to roll on the gas much quicker.

Remember when installing grips, the one with the larger inner diameter goes on the throttle! These are by far my favorite grips, they are smaller diameter and are super soft. Benefit of the smaller diameter grip is it requires less effort to maintain a strong grip when you're throwing the bike around or hanging off it.

Well, out with the old! Big shout out to my mechanic for his once again solid work. Suspension stuff is out of my comfort zone and today he spared some time to remove this stock shock and throw my new penkse shock on.
http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a254/cbc-Em1/image_zpsf8deea63.jpg

In with the new, once again! Decided to raise the rear of the bike by 5mm, essentially what this does is increase the quickness of the turn in and improve the flickability of the bike. It makes the bike dive into turns much more aggressively with minimal effort required.
https://scontent-sea1-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xpf1/v/t1.0-9/10268680_10152414479591474_9086033161192301001_n.j pg?oh=05d5cd1d8c20ad42f0cf622a10fa361f&oe=55FA71BB

Initial impressions, I had to get used to riding the bike again. The rear felt noticeably taller, definitely can't flat foot. I think I should use the time from now until May to get used to the new tip in characteristics of the bike. When my DOT race tires go on, its going to raise the rear even a little higher than it already is now. The DOT races have a much more aggressive profile than regular street tires and in turn result in a much taller tire. Why? Increased contact patch when bike is in full lean, and also improved turn in.

As far as the ride goes, it felt a bit firmer on smooth roads, but when going over large bumps the rear of the bike didn't tossed around as much and it just felt planted. I'll get a real impression come May down at the Ridge Motorsports Park, I can't really offer much feedback until then as I won't have an opportunity to really push this bike.

that's a different way to remove the clip ons.
i've always considered it far easier to simply lower the forks down rather than removing the top clamp and then having to find a torque wrench and re-torque the stem nut.

I'd have to see if I can access the pinch bolts for the lower triple tree first, but that actually sounds like a pretty solid way to doing it. For my 1098 it was a pain in the ass to access the lower triple without removing the nose cone!

Plus I was paranoid with not being able to get a good feel of how tight/loose I'm securing the lower pinch bolts and resetting the height of the forks. I'm mostly scared about over tightening the lower pinch bolts as I've heard it can impede on the travel of the internals. Hmm whats your take on it? :teach: Could use your 0.02

It's easy and basic, imo far easier than removing the top clamp. sure, you may have to remove the fairing but that shouldn't be a big deal.
i've dropped forks myself countless times and not once had any issues, you'd have to seriously over-torque the pinch bolts to damage the forks -in fact I don't even know if it's even possible to do so. imo.. The pinch bolts just need to be tight, whereas the stem nut should be properly torqued to spec.
As for the height of the forks, it's no biggy. measure the rise of the forks from the top clamp first before you lower them, use a pair of digital vernier calipers for your measurement if you want perfection. it's something you could be doing anyways if you want to change a bike's geometry and handling. For example my street SV has the sag set in the proper range but I found the handling too slow, turn in was too heavy.. so I dropped the front end a bit to speed things up.

Oops, forgot to post these up. New set of rubber for the season came in two weeks ago. Big shout out to Jason over at Dunlop Race Tires Service, they always deliver! Decided to go with D211 GP-A Ntec dot race tires this year instead of a the full blown KR series superbike slicks. These are the new updated AMA spec supersport tire for 2013. They recently changed the profile over from 190/55 to a 190/60 to give the tire a taller profile.

Bazzaz QS4 quick shifter unit came in! This is a sweet little piece of equipment that allows clutchles and essentially seamless up shifts :hotbaby:. It connects in with your ignition harness and ecu. The kit comes with a shift rod sensor that will send a signal to the unit to momentarily cut ignition when there is movement in the shift lever. It allows you to lock the throttle wide open and smash through the gears without ever rolling off :fullofwin:. I'll take everything out soon and lay it out with photos, probably installing later this week.

Perfect fit on that Marchesini hub, kick's going on end of those month hopefully. For the chain I went with a RK GXW 520 in gold.

Its time for a bit of an update, this thread's collecting dust! Kind of went MIA on everybody over the last two months. As a few of you probably know, I was involved in a pretty big accident on track back in mid June while at the Ridge Motorsports Park. Won't dive too much into the details but it was a bit of a freak accident, and essentially manifested into a 4-5 bike pile up.

The result was a separated shoulder and broken scaphoid/distal radius on my throttle hand, so this Summer was more or less a write off. Undergone surgery with an orthopedic specialist on June 21st, and just had my pin sites removed 3 weeks ago. I'm just finally back on the road to recovery. Doing physio 3 times a week to stretch out the tendons and regain range of motion back in my wrist. Strength is still at 20% and my range of motion is still only at 30% but I'm happy with the progress so far given the short time it's been.

Some pics from the day of the accident!

External fixator/pin site was used due to my fracture being in a delicate location. The surgeon said he's seen the procedure/internal hardware come undone before in the past, before it's fully healed. Maybe its over kill but it was just a extra means of precaution.

-Throttle Cable from throttle kit needed replacing
-Bent rear rim (shout out to greens wheel repair for the awesome job)
-Sato rearset components required replacing, stuff holds up pretty well
-Tail light

It's much appreciated, and I hope so too! Did you mean did I make the progress all on my own? Well I spend about an hour a day doing physio exercises outside of my sessions, whether it be light weights to gain back the muscle I lost from atrophy, to stretching my tendons back out that contracted from being dormant for 2 months. Also my wrist joint had stiffened up to the point where its near immobile and you have to gradually force it free and move it in different directions to gain back the range of motion. The only way is to push through the pain. You gain it back slowly but when you're anxious to rebound from it, it can feel like the progress is moving at a crawling pace. It's good to set the bar high though because if you let it passively heal on it's own, it would permanently heal with limited range.

I was doing a bit of research on my own on the internet with people that have had similar fractures (ie. video recovery logs on youtube) and the range of motion I've recovered in the last 3 weeks is what some others have made in 2-3 months time, it definitely helps me sleep easier at night. I actually even rode my bike today for the first time in over 2 months :megusta:

As far as the replacement of my rearset components and rear tire go I was not able to do it on my own this time around due to the lack of strength. Electrical stuff I don't fair very well either so our shop mech was kind enough to lend me the hand I needed 3 weeks ago (pun intended :lol).

The body work I was able to finish off on my own though, although it was challenging. I'd say it took me about 10-11 hours total with my strong hand this week:woot2:. It involved a bit of drilling, trimming and filing to get some of the pieces to properly line up. Plus the aftermarket body work did not use stock mounting brackets for the headlight housing so I had to find/use alternative sized hardware in certain spots. It was a lot of assembling and disassembling to ensure all the fitment and lines of the bodywork were to my standards.

Still doing physio, the bike's come to a temporary halt but I still have some front end components coming in. I'll probably have them installed come Spring. I have about 50% range of motion again and it's still improving so this is good news! I have a final follow up with my surgeon one week from today. I've actually been back riding since August, against my physiotherapist's advice :lol should have seen his reaction when walked through the door with my lid in hand

Ohh I hear you man it's definitely served as a good ice breaker for people I've met over the last few months, and thanks! This particular m4 slip-on does eliminate the cat. While I think it looks and sounds great, it is obnoxiously loud. At certain a rpm it'll drone at a frequency that just resonates inside the whole helmet :eek5r: so I had to resort to wearing noise cancelling headphones. I'm sure it doesn't help either the fact that the outlet for the pipe sits directly under the rider's right ear. I swear this pipe is the neighbor hater 2000 haha, especially during the morning hours.

Hey guys and gals, just another update. I'm still here :) just the last few months have been super busy. The paramedics had to cut me out of my gloves and race suit back in June, so this calls for new gloves lol. Absolutely love these, they are the Dainese Full Metal RS. It was much different than my last pair which had free floating impact absorbing foam/kevlar suspended on top of the glove. These Dainese gloves instead have the protection pieces built INTO the glove, the last pair of gloves I had felt like I was wearing nothing at all (Ned Flanders reference for teh lulz).

This pair of gloves took a while to get used to though, they were super stiff until after I broke them in and let me tell ya, having a weak wrist youre trying to rehabilitate doesnt help.

Decided to take the bike out for a quick spin to remedy my winter blues last week. Also decided I should stop procrastinating and put fuel stabilizer in it lmao (last time I rode it was the end of October day before my insurance expired) but its only been 2 months ish.

In preparation for Spring 2015, decided to pick up some goodies. EBC sintered double h brakes pads! These provide a much more aggressive initial bite than your run of the mill stock pads (unless your bike comes equipped with OEM brembos).

Also finally picked up a Pitbull rear stand as I included my old stand with the sale of my previous bike. I was going to buy one after the first track day last year, but wound up binning the bike so it wasn't a priority after that.

Lastly some Motul Moto Wash, saw this sitting on the shelf at work. Hell of $14 why the hell not give it a try. I haven't washed my bike since, well end of Summer LOL.

EBC Double-H Sintered pads

Carbon Lorraine Street/Sport pad

either or, I know ebc provide great initial bite

both are civilized enough for street use and at the same time hold up against the abuse of club racing.

One thing though, they will be more demanding on your rotors than your stock pads. So under track use they can wear your rotors quicker.

Wow, ok. So 2015 brings some major life changes. So last week marks the last time I wear a pair of contact lenses. I didn't get the procedure done solely for biking per say, but it was more so for my future prospects for work.

After a consultation in early February, I went back to London Eye Center in New West last Wednesday and got my corrective eye surgery done :fullofwin:. The procedure I got was PRK (photorefractive keratectomy) which is the no touch laser method. Essentially what they do is reshape your cornea using a laser. The laser itself burns cool and it vaporizes a minute amount of tissue in certain areas of your eye they have premapped out to correct your near/farsightedness and stigmatism. It's different from the LASIK procedure as LASIK require a small incision be made to the cornea.

It's super bizzare though, you're awake for the procedure and as the laser goes to work your vision slowly clears. It gets blurry again before they clean your eye with out saline. Then everything you see is super crisp but light sensitive. You are in and out in an hour, the surgery itself takes 5 minutes but its the prep work that takes up the majority of the time.

Following the first few days your eyes are just itchy, gritty and dry. Sensitivity to light is going to be noticeable, but will have mostly subsided by the 5th day

https://scontent-sea1-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xpa1/v/t1.0-9/p720x720/10428456_10153159127541474_7544459967445305058_n.j pg?oh=9fb53bef31b90bc275803e0458178160&oe=562B2A4C

Anyways, I actually got around to wrenching on my bike today. Had to book a week off work and decided to use my last day off to throw on my brake pads. Come to papa baby.

https://scontent-sea1-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xpa1/v/t1.0-9/11015933_10153170210721474_5271027441573841735_n.j pg?oh=ea3bb640355c2465b8869c034f768cc0&oe=56275D1F

Remember to loosen the pins that hold the pad in first, then proceed to remove the caliper bolts
https://scontent-sea1-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xfa1/v/t1.0-9/1509092_10153170216251474_6196097425536723672_n.jp g?oh=cd1335ba523cd86e72051ab2b80367cb&oe=56141474

Look at all that brake dust caked on. Dirty as hell, and definitely require a cleaning. You don't want to press the pistons back in to the caliper in this condition. Give them a thorough clean because if not you're pushing dirt and debris back into the lines and space between the caliper and piston itself. That could hinder its performance.

1 pair in, 3 pairs to go. This is just the design of Kawi's Nissin calipers, they decided to go with a dual pad set up for their 4 piston caliper. Reason? It's supposed to serve better functionality for heat dissipation compared to a mono pad set up. Back all cleaned, remember to do the clips and pins as well.

Time for another update! Of course with plenty of eye candy :fappery:

After much anticipation (and waiting of course) my cartridge kit is in :fullofwin:. Original gold baby! It's the Ohlins 30mm aka. nix30 kit for the green machine. Stoked cause my front end setup will finally compliment the rear. Since I've changed our the factory shock for the Penkse 3-way, the front end seem to unsettle easily and just wasn't really confidence inspiring down at the track.

Remember even if you're pushing a stock set up, its important to run the proper spring rates. Measurement is always rider weight + full gear.

Do the cartridge kits make that much of a difference? Easy to install?

fT-z33wor
04-28-2015, 09:34 PM
It increases adjustabililty, reduce brake dive in the front end and makes the bike feel like its planted on rails when cornering. I'll be reporting in when some feedback once I get these bad boys in. It's also supposed to increase the smoothness of the ride over bumps so the bike doesn't unsettle easily.

Installation will require removal of the forks and internals, then replacing the factory cartridges & springs with aftermarket. Also need new oil seals and dust seals as well as fresh oil. Measurements of the oil level will differ to for the new set up!

**edit**

Out with the old, in with the new! New suit next to (whats left of) my old one :lol Decided to go with a different color suit to match up my helmet and gloves :concentrate:. Like my last suit it's a Laguna Seca Pro Estiva (estiva for summer = perforated) by Dainese. This one is actually one size SMALLER, surprisingly fits me better :smug: gym time paid off heh!

Hell yea bro, Patrick picked up a Daytona 675!

Anyways, the forks are in. Front end feels much more planted and unsettles less over bumps. I'll have a real chance to test it out at the end of this month at my first track day of the year. The front end is firm but plush, it's really an out of this world feeling as the bike doesn't pogo stick anymore over uneven pavement.
https://scontent-sea.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xaf1/v/t1.0-9/10501912_10153356679296474_2558176214778986515_n.j pg?oh=03bb6666a19b7df091b8c634a4827f30&oe=55CC2722

Gotta have the swag on of course. Also a fork tube travel indicator was inserted around the fork tube as well during disassembly/reassembly.

Time for some photo updates from my trip! To my surprise, wrist didn't give me any major problems, I mean, granted a few cramps and a smidge sore but I mean range is completely adequate. FUCK YEA! Nervous wreck during the first few morning sessions and witnessed a 5 bike pile up, which was a bit nerve racking but by the afternoon I was back and the rust was shaken off. I didn't want to go bonkers as I wasn't sure what my wrist could handle so I registered one group lower.

Time of departure, team Green all the way!
