I feel you, I always get someone to give me a hand if possible cause I don't want to run the risk of dropping my bike.

Ya its quite scary at first, but once you get the hang of it its easy peasy! Can be a nuisance at times cause the akro pipe blocks your line of sight...

where did you install the ballast?

on side of the fairings, played around with the ballast n wiring and got them to fit snug between the frame. didnt need velcro or any zipties.

I remember on my ruckus i had an r6 rear light with integrated amber turn signals. Crazy bright and really nice. Would you consider a mod like that to clean up the rear of the bike?

*edit* i forgot that when u tapped the brakes the light would strobe twice and stay solid on 3rd. Sooo great for grabbing attention.

where did you get the integrated turn signals? motodynamics?

I am not really planning to get those until I feel really comfortable with riding haha.

im not sure where it was purchased from. it was included when i bought my ruckus. i compared it to stock ruck brakes and running lights and it was far brighter than i ever expected. the ruckus is small so the integrated turn signals worked very well, and was very noticeable during the day. on a larger bike though im not 100%. but i would feel comfortable enough with those lights to mount it to almost any bike i'd get in the future (if i were to want to do a rear fender eliminator or plate relocation)

not sure why, but the stock flasher unit still worked with these led lights. but once i swapped my front turn signals to LED it blinked double time. so i got a different flasher relay (can't remember which one) which does not rely on load

Those'll take anywhere from 3-9 months. Mr. Watsen builds these things in his basement and its all hand crafted. So worth the wait, but we've had guys order these things in the beginning of the year and them not show up till October. It's funny, one time the guy wound up selling his bike before he got his signals :lol

ps- Should look into some braided lines and a pair of more aggressive pads with better initial bite. Those are the first things I do to any bike I own. It makes the bike a lot more confidence inspiring under hard braking.

I'd probably go with the Spieglers man, Galfer's been having some quality control issues lately and I've seen the fittings that were supposed to be stainless steel build surface rust a a gsxr just last month. They could have since fixed the issues I'm not sure.

I've never tried Galfer pads, but I know EBC makes a solid product and so does Carbon Lorraine. I think the wait time for Spiegler right now is about a minimum 2 weeks behind production schedule, so if you're in a rush you could always jump the gun on the Galfers as they are all pre-made. Due to the wide variety of color combinations Spiegler offers it's all made to order.

With those flush mount LED's do you guys get hassled by police? I'm not sure how noticeable or bright they are. Granted they do look baller as fack

Industry standard LEDs are pretty vibrant, even the budget $40 bikemaster ones are very noticeable in broad daylight. Now the question of whether its illegal or not, well, you can be ticketed for essentially anything on your bike that is not oem. At the end of the day, it comes down on how you carry yourself and whether you act accordingly or not. The police have better things to do with their time, but if you're riding up and down Robson at 12,000rpm you can surely expect to be given a hard time.

Heck I've had a officer come in before while on duty and order a fender eliminator and integrated tail light on separate occasions.

When the sun came out this afternoon, I decided to clean and lube my chain. It was pretty damn dirty, remember to wear gloves!

After that, I washed, clay-barred and then polished my r6 with zaino. It's so shiny now!
