So i've been getting a lot of PMs a while ago asking when the next Sport Chek Friends/Family event will be.
Just got confirmation that the event will be held on May 14th and 15th, for those not familiar with this sale, it is a "non-advertised" sale (though it will likely be all over social media) that discounts everything in the store by 25% (10% for items already on sale), with minimal exclusions.
So great time to buy stuff that never goes on sale, like high end hockey gear, arc'teryx etc.
I will post the ecoupon once I get a copy of it.

Does TA work on top of the 25%/10%?

Does TA work on top of the 25%/10%?
unfortunately not cause its 2 separate coupon codes
but you can still scan your TA card and get the 5% rebate
basically the trick for TA coupon holder is for regular price items, use the 25% off FF coupon for items on sale use the 20% off 1 item coupon from TA

is shoes BOGO still on during those 2 days? and if so, will the 10% be on top of the BOGO price?

I believe it's one or the other. You can't stack the 10% on top of BOGO 50%.

Metropolis, richmond, Park royal, Pacific center and willowbrook are your best in the lower mainland.
You can also check inventory online at sportchek.ca

^Ended up being too lazy to head out to Richmond for goalie gear. The Metrotown store is coming along really nicely, but they need more stock (or at least, restore the old selection) pronto!

Varies from store to store, tech to tech
No different than independent shops.
We have have techs in the company that have been sharpening skates for 20+ years and we have techs in company that started this week.
You just have to know which store to go to and who to ask for.

Anyone notice that they pull a lot regular priced stuff on "sale" for this F&F sale? Instead of getting 25% off, you're only getting 10%, watch the prices to back to "regular" prices after the sale.

Nothing I noticed... There were some shoes that were marked down by 0.01 cent for other reasons that's unrelated to friends and and family but we allowed 25% off on all those.
Also at my store if certain items are cheaper at 25% off regular price vs. 10% off Sale price I usually override it for the customers anyways.
It's a friend's and family sale.... I dont like to nickel and dime people during these events.... But of course it will differ a bit from store to store. But nothing is intentionally marked down as far as I know.

Might just be the guildford mall location then. I saw the price of the item that I wanted before the F&F sale, I went there and they swapped the tag with a for sale tag, for the same price!
