Redflagdeals introduced their beta program for quote notifications.
When someone quotes your post, you get an email notification that you have been quoted. This way you know if someone has either replied to you or has asked you a question based on your post.

I find it very handy and was wondering if RS could implement something similar?

i think its just a setting in the vbulletin backside of the site


our Honda forum has this notification setup and it is handy. as well as a notification for when people mention you ie. @snails would give me a notification

They are probably using a mod, assuming it's for VB4. We are in the first stages of moving to completely new software - I haven't decided if we'll move to VB4 or something else. In any case, there is no mod for VB3 that I know of that does this, and even if there was, I don't want to install more mods right before moving to new software.

Yeah, doesn't make sense to try a mod if you're moving software.
