I love neogaf's mobile software. it has everything that's useful (minus the thanks and fails). Best feature is an button at the top and bottom that lets u jump the the top or bottom of the page right away.

OK we now support Tapatalk, Forum Runner, will have a free ad-supported mobile app on Google, and thanks to ForbiddenX will have an iOS app as well

That should cover our bases for now :)

The free version will have ads

Is forum runner better than tapatalk?
Tapatalk is free, but if forum runner is better i'd rather just get that

Yeah but I don't like the idea of using revscene to promote their app to people

They actually have a way to use their software on your own branded app (this is what the xda forum app is) but that is $100 + $70 per month :ahwow:

Yeah that's why I decided not to do it after all. I thought we would be stuck having no app but then I got it working, so there's no point in letting someone else get all the support from the members.

If you bought it I'm sure you can refund it. App store is pretty relaxed about that, I have refunded shitty apps before

As for support, people can support just by participating to discussions every day :)

Wait, I'm confused. So tapatalk is no longer supported now? Tapatalk is good for people that browse multiple forums, so now they don't have to open a seperate app just to browse revscene, and all the forums are streamlined together, it also has a pretty good interface for replying etc.

And tapatalk is free as far as i know?

Tapatalk signatures are disabled. What Tapatalk does is use forums like this to promote their software and social network. That is not my goal.. My goal is to support it for the people who already have the app. Everyone else should get the RS app or just use the normal browser version.
