Can vouch for this anime, it's good.

12 episodes out right now, 11 are subbed.

Does this have to do anything with the Muse song? "Knights of Cydonia"?

I don't understand why anyone would watch this on Netflix. The good animes that are worth watching have almost certainly already been fan-subbed and are available on the Internet. The fanbois that have an interest in anime will almost certainly have looked it up and watched it before it became available on Netflix. So who the heck is gonna watch it on Netflix?

i think i would trust netflix's business decisions over your opinion lol.

I for one am one of those people that would CHECK IT OUT on netflix...

i ain't a big anime fan unless it's one of those classic cult hit movies (akira, ninja scroll, etc)...

but i do have the anime/cartoon section saved on netflix, and i browse through it once in a while to see if there's anything that's not crappy.

it's opening the genre to all the normal people that will stumble across it and get hooked onto animes.

lol that being said, there are a lot of things on netflix that are just "who would watch this?"

but people like options...

i would bet that most people spend more time browsing than watching shit on netflix.

im one of those people ;) 'my list' is huuuge but I haven't gotten around to watching them yet, it was the same with rental stores we would spend forever looking through all the movies finding what we wanted to rent for the weekend but with rental stores you have to stop looking eventually :lol

Well it is a typical Japanese anime
1.Emo guy
2.Massive gender imbalance (favouring guys of course).
3.Poly-amorous relationships.
4.Mechas
5.Prepubescent genius kid who saves the colony
