Hey everyone. Just received my 24 color RGB LEDs and low and behold they did not come with any installation instructions. I'm wondering how I can hook it up at home and in the car. I have attached pics of the connectors! The white wire is the LED controller that controls the colour output

Do you have the remote? It's just powered by a pretty standard 12v dc adapter

Yup got it set up in the house. Now...how would I set it up in a vehicle with the led controller? (I've got the remote)

Well unless you get a power inverter and plug in the adapter the only other way is to splice the wires and tap into a 12v fuse located in the car.

Cut the round connector off and there should be a thin black and red wire. Black is ground, red is power. Likely you will want to hook up to accessory power in the car. Just make sure the IR receiver is in a good place because that's where you will aim the remote at to change colors.

Much better explanation than mine.

Quick note, if you wire it in to accessory power it may turn on whenever the key is turned. I have a very similar, if not identical, LED strip set up, and it's annoying having to turn the things off whenever I turn the key.
