Anyone else playing this game? I just got into the alpha two days ago and played through the tutorial. Was a bit boring, but most likely just because it was the tutorial. Haven't had much time, especially with TI4 going on.

Yeah this is pretty much for people new to mobas... But if they do for mobas what they did for card games with Hearthstone, or RTS with Starcraft and Warcraft, or MMOs with WOW, this should be a really good game.

I got the alpha invite.
Been playing for a week or so now.

A easy game for anyone to pick up compare to Dota2/LoL
I would even say is an arcade version of those classic moba or battleground in World of Warcraft.
The game starts, you get in there and get kills right away and have instant fun!
Game are at most 20~25 mins long.
Definitely for people who don't want to invest time to learn and play Dota2/LoL.

A con is the F2P business model. You pay real money to unlock heroes or you use the in-game currency to unlock them.
The in-game currency can be ONLY be obtained by doing quest.
You do not get in-game currency for playing/winning a game (as of this post).
A new quest appears everyday, so you cannot really grind to unlock a new hero.
But, if the game is fun, I'm sure people won't mind dropping money on it.

I don't think it will be as big as Dota2 or LoL.
Mechanic is too bland to really get "pro" in it.
The game require some balancing and tweak here and there.
But lots of potential in it especially with the large heroes pool from Warcraft/Starcraft/Diablo !

They started invites outside the US beginning of July, got my invite last week.

Seeing as you share EXP with your team, if you don't have 4 of your friends playing with you or have good communication, I can see this as very rage inducing for some people.

it's very straight forward. more team work and playing than... knowing stacks and whatever.

But yea, it is very simple like the other people have said, no items or anything so its just straight killing/fighting

i feel blizzard has done a good job on alpha so far. it will bring alot of people in that wants to try moba but LoL or DotA2 is too much. the simplicity of just skills is great.

however, i feel like that this game is too heavily based on map events. although teamwork is fairly a must in all these moba games, i get the vibe that its even more so more important in blizzards version just because of map events.

That is exactly why i want this game so badly, it's so simple to play HIGH! ^_^ :nyan: No items to buy.... no last hitting... no denying... Perfect game for a stoner. All you gotta do is farm exp or gank. This game is highly dependent on 5 man fights and the objectives, if you are outnumbered . FUARK GG

The game is really FUN if you have a team that works together. Action everywhere!

However the game is SUPER frustrating if you don't have a team that plays well.
If you have ONE single person in your team who doesn't want to cooperate, you will lose the game.
