Deadpool movie LEAKED TEST FOOTAGE

Sorry I can't get the direct link and don't know how long it'll be up but man...that was fucking awesome.
This test footage was from years ago after Wolverine Origins. It's still stuck in production Limbo since Wolverine was a huge fail.
Deadpool was nailed perfectly! Ryan Reynolds doing the voice as well.

Yup, it's just test footage to help pitch the film. It's not an indication of how the real film would look. That said, I think they managed to capture Deadpool perfectly.

The Makers of Deadpool Had to Slash $7 Million From the Budget at the Last Minute (http://io9.gizmodo.com/the-makers-of-deadpool-had-to-slash-7-million-from-the-1758147495)
Mere days before the film was set to get an official green light, the writers, director and producers sat down with 20th Century Fox executives, and were given a near impossible task.
“We had to carve something like $7-8 million out of the budget in a 48-hour window,” Reese told io9. “And we, as a group, just put our heads together, got creative, and said ‘How do we cut what is essentially nine pages out of a 110 page script?’”
It wasn’t easy. The duo had already been tinkering with their script and making changes at least once a year over the course of six and a half years of development. The most radical of those changes involved creating a version that dialed the film’s violence and balls-to-the-wall humor down from R to PG-13. Thankfully, that didn’t stick, but several other changes did.
Including some last-minute changes that were done purely to trim the budget.
“Angel Dust, played by Gina Carano, used to be three different characters,” Reese explained. “It was Garrison Kane, Sluggo and Wire. There was a reduction of action. We had a motorcycle chase between Deadpool and Ajax on the freeway that we took out. We had a big, big gun fight in the third act that we took out and we basically had Deadpool forget his guns as a means of getting around it. So there were just reductions.”

he literally did say himself that they had a shit budget lol like literally in the movie
they only had $50-58million so they hired a 1st time director who is a visual effects expert, guess they were hoping his expertise would help with the effects on a tight budget, they even had to cut some action scenes out of the film due to lack of funds($7-$8m worth)
“Angel Dust, played by Gina Carano, used to be three different characters,” Reese explained. “It was Garrison Kane, Sluggo and Wire. There was a reduction of action. luckily the studios allowed them to keep it rated R, but it's also why the budget was trimmed
With Deadpool 2 greenlit, and depending on how well this one does in the end, the budget for #2 will likely be significantly higher

The Merc With a Mouth takes a few swipes at X-Men Origins: Wolverine in the Deadpool movie, but apparently that wasn't enough for Ryan Reynolds, who "crashed" an Eddie The Eagle interview junket just to give his pal Hugh Jackman a bit more stick about it - not that Origins' horrendous take on Wade Wilson was the only thing Reynolds brought up. Check out the video interview below if you fancy a few chuckles of a Tuesday morning.

FOX, not Marvel
What's funny is that this is FOX's biggest X-Men movie ever (http://io9.gizmodo.com/after-less-than-two-weeks-deadpool-is-already-the-bigg-1760598443), with only 2 official characters, and after sitting on the script for 8 years thinking no one would watch it.
Maybe they'll finally understand how to properly make future Marvel movies, and make them more true to the source material.

Too lazy to google but I'm sure in terms of "budget to profit" I'll bet Deadpool smashed many Superhero movies. Even looking at cast contracts alone, X-Men with Hugh, Halle Barry, Patrick Stewart, and co, then there's Avengers which is obvious.
Deadpool had ONE star, and he's not even the type to command Robery Downey range of money. I've never even heard of all the other people in Deadpool.

Unless I'm mistaken, RDJ couldn't command that sort of money either.
Favreau had to seriously go to bat for him to play that role.
Jon Favreau Says Marvel Didn't Have Much Faith In Robert Downey Jr As IRON MAN (http://www.comicbookmovie.com/iron_man/jon-favreau-says-marvel-didnt-have-much-faith-in-robert-downey-jr-as-a102375)
RDJ was sort of a down and out actor, not exactly a star at that point.
Tony Stark in the MCU as we know it was source material mated to the perfect actor.
I think we've got another perfect match as Reynolds as Wade Wilson.

According to Comic Book Movie, the one that got the fattest check among the Avengers is no other than Iron Man himself- Robert Downey Jr. He got a relatively huge amount of $40 million for portraying the billionaire superhero.
The site also noted that Robert Downey Jr. was hailed ‘the highest paid actor’ by Forbes two years ago, and the revelation seems to be expected.
Also, the site was able to reveal the Avengers’ salaries as well. Hollywood’s finest actress- Scarlett Johansson earned $20 million for playing as The Black Widow. The remaining superheroes- Chris Evans as Captain America, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Chris Hemsworth as Thor and Mark Ruffalo as Hulk earned $6.9 M, $6.1 M, $5.4 M and $2.8 M respectively.
That's like $80 million on just the "Avengers team" alone.
I'm assuming Morena Baccarin and T.J. Miller got peanuts lol.
Reynolds got less than The Hulk who was barely in the movie, and the parts that had him, more than half of it was CGI.
Reynolds was initially paid $2.7 million for his role as the smart-arsed Wade Wilson/Deadpool, but according to The Hollywood Reporter, he’ll make more than $13.8 million once bonuses are factored in.

I read somewhere Reynolds actually took a cut in up-front pay just because he really wanted to get the movie made.

Maybe they'll finally understand how to properly make future Marvel movies, and make them more true to the source material.
My greatest fear is that other studios will merely see the "R-rated superhero movie" as the next success bandwagon they can hop on, and we'll start seeing more raunched-out versions of everyone else... whether it suits the character or not.
How many will understand, superhero movies live and die on how faithful they are to the originals that the existing fan base already knows and loves... and Deadpool is doing so well, not because of the adult humour, but because it absolutely nails the character?

enjoyed the movie but feel the same as freakshow did in general. hoping the second installment is better!
Damn, my son watched the movie last week and told me today that there's this scene that was filmed in my old stomping grounds, as in the actual building where I grew up. Now I have to go see it. I know every inch of that neighbourhood. The wooden steps that leads up to a blocked section or something like that, sounds very familiar.
