lol well, the one of the films main themes was transcending the body, ego, and the illusion of time.

That was my initial thought as well, but they don't even make use of the fact that she's so smoking hot.

She might as well be dressed in a fat suit for most of the movie.

It's too bad as I enjoy Min-Sik Choi as an actor (I saw the Devil - A dark Korean movie is one of my favourite foreign films) so that was the only real positive for me that he was in it

I rather enjoyed the movie - and I've never done hard drugs lol.

Interesting concept for sure, I thought it was a good mix between Hollywood hokey-pokey and the concept Besson was trying to deal with.

I also liked that Choi min-sik didn't try to haphazardly speak English...and just used Korean throughout the entire movie. Some of the shit he says (without subtitles) is pretty funny lol.

This is disappointing news. I'm a Luc Besson fan, so I'll go and see it, but I'm going in prepared for a doozy. I was hoping it was just a really shitty trailer and that the person editing the trailer couldn't articulate a Luc Besson film properly in 2 minutes. Maybe Ulic is onto something and Besson is trying to appeal to a wider audience, but in doing so it sounds like he hasn't appealed to anyone.
