If you haven't noticed, we're running a promotion for Rogers Wireless, where you can get $5 off your next bill by signing up to their SMS alert service for at least a month:

Sign up for Rogers Alerts and Save $5 on your Rogers Wireless Bill! Sign Up Now (http://www.anrdoezrs.net/click-7518560-11754080)

Basically it will send you info on deals when you're near a store running a promo

Just thought it would be worth checking out if you're on Rogers - you save $5 and help support RS. After you get your credit, you can keep using it or not :ilied:

you have absolutely good timing on this. right after using a live agent chat to do my hardware upgrade, i came on to RS and BOOM, that ad was right there.

not going to lie, it spooked me.

You do realize that you agreed to be tracked 24/7 when you signed up right? :troll:

first I was worried about getting too many msg, and become very annoying.
then I saw "Text messages are FREE. Maximum of 5 texts per week."

:notbad:

so do i save $5 one time only or is this going to be continuous?

Would I save $60 a year just by signing up?

also what the hell is www.rogersalerts.ca? are they affiliated with www.rogers.com?
are they still rogers or some sort of third party?

It's legit. I signed up through my Rogers.com account a while back. Funny enough, I've yet to see a single text from them...

I think it's just for one month... They are the same company don't worry

I signed up a couple months ago and have only ever received 2 texts since. I actually forgot about this, I need to go back and check that I got my $5 discount.

Lomac I think it also depends on the companies who sign up as advertisers. I don't get it in e van very often but when I venture out it comes more

Signed up for this last month to get the bonus Rogers rewards pts (1000 bonus pts) which I use for texting/calls when I go to the US. I've gotten 1 text from them and it was just a thank you for signing up text. No other texts and I've been on the west side of the bridge, hwy 1 through to chilliwack, Coq/#3 to the interior.... still nothing :)

Subscribed to this the first time, never got any texts or the $5 discount. Just tried signing up again and it said I had already signed up before :rukidding:
