Hey,

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good place to get some Tennis balls with the dots on them. Kinda still a beginner/novice player. I know Tad sells them but they're way too far and out of the way for me to go just to pick up a few rolls of tennis balls.

I live in Burnaby and usually commute to around Main street for work.

I think the tennis balls with the dots on them are just a normal tennis ball with a bingo marker mark on them. I noticed most tennis instructors do this with their classes.

OP, go to a dollarstore and buy some $1 bingo markers if you already have some tennis balls and you just want to mark them.

Actually they are Tennis balls that are 25% slower than normal tennis balls. Thanks anyways

honestly i would just learn from normal tennis balls, you do not need ones that travel slower just because you are a beginner..

Agree'd with TOS'd. Its best to start with normal tennis balls. Yes they may have higher speed to it but with your eyes and body learning to adapt you'll pick up the game sense and footwork to play. But that being said it depends on the seriousness of the way you want to play. If you are looking for training balls, you can check Tad's on Granville, they'll have everything you need.

I play more for fun, plus new balls I have trouble trying to rally with them. I tried a few times and the ball flew everywhere

Its not the balls, its you. You need to learn the proper techniques to hit, that way no matter how hard you hit the ball you will be able to still control it. Even if you play more for fun, you arent going to get better by using equipment that makes it easier.
