Recently I bought a 00 740I sport back in march, everyone told me not too on RS but i ignored them and im very happy I did, drive it daily and not a single problem yet other than the valve cover gaskets leaking that i replaced myself for cheap. Anyways heres an update on the car just been doing lots of little things to it. If anyone has an Alpina lip for sale id like to buy one !! https://fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xap1/t1.0-9/10606257_836054626406183_3014169201280808653_n.jpg

Moved to proper forum.
For the record, I love the look of E38's. It's so conservative looking, but it just has a physical presence that the later models don't have.

When I made my build thread it was moved into the build thread forum, and I lost access to it for like a year.
So shouldn't this be moved into the build threads location?
And OP already had a thread here:
http://www.revscene.net/forums/693991-looking-1999-2001-bmw-740i-e38.html
No idea why he decided to create another one.

Build thread has minimum requirements before a user is allowed to view it. Chances are that's what happened to you, and the OP definitely hasn't hit the minimum yet. Best place is here for him for now.

That's what I mean. It was moved into that section, and when I messaged I was told I would gain back access once I hit the threshold.
So OP is just going to be allowed to have a build thread in the improper section, when I was certainly told I couldn't do that?
Seems kind of bullshit, normally I wouldn't care, but OP in this case is a smart-ass and jerk off.

I certainly wouldn't consider this random post a "build" thread.

Well that begs an entirely different question about why the OP posted a thread for this when we have the "latest pic of your whip" thread.
OP is clearly once again displaying a poor attitude, he has no intention of trying to be a positive member of the community, he just feels like rubbing his shit in everyone else's face, and insulting us, just like he did in his old thread.

Haha honestly i dont know rev scence too well honest mistake posting it there, anyways yea i know id like to get some alpina b7 wheels or work meisters. My brother has some on his supra and they would look amazing on my car. And I strongly agree Lomac the e38 is the best looking 7 series to me other than the 2011 Alpina B7

Original post was located in VLS. I couldn't combine it to the Latest Pictures thread from that location. And I've no idea about your situation as I normally allow members who haven't hit the threshold to gain access, provided they seem legit enough.

Okay in that case I am requesting that my build thread be moved into this section as well. As it is super frustrating to me that I can't link people to it who aren't members here.
Slippery slopes are slippery.

Definitely go with Alpina wheels.
Work Meisters are stunning but they wouldn't suit it well, like they do the Supra.

I realized the exaust tip was inconsistently positioned awhile after taking that photo and fixed it a long time ago and work meisters do actually look amazing on the car, http://cdn.bmwowners.ro/2014/bmw-e38-740il-by-jeremy-whittle-02.jpg

We'll see what happens if you ever have engine or tranny problems!
At least you're in Surrey so you could probably pick up a 302 and T5 right on your block
Dude, just buy my rep AC Schnitzer lip and get it mounted/fitted/painted lol
