I've tried them and think they are so nasty... I always thought its just because I'm white I don't like them lol

the 'meat' part is okay..

Just an FYI though over in asia there's a serious issue going on right now where bakery's have "accidentally" bought gutter oil and rotten pig fat which came from China for their mooncakes and treats
the story broke out in taiwan but its an issue in hong kong too, mass recalls are in place and even places like Maxim are affected
not sure how that relates locally but a lot of our mooncakes are sourced from taiwan/hong kong/etc

I don't even know what a mooncake is....then again I'm late 30's and had Dim Sum for the first time like a year and a half ago.

i liked them when i was a kid. as a teenager i started not liking them for some reason. then as an adult, i realized how fattening most of them can be. Regardless, i'll still have a small piece if its offered from family.

Love moon cakes, especially the egg ones, but they are way fucking overpriced.

i used to like them, but now i kind of dont eat them any more cuz there just not that good
actually last year i still hate them, everyone would give them to us (as they put it under the company tab), but now your not allow to do that anymore in china (thank god)
