Help a Noob out... Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus
Folks.. picked up this cheap cheap 7" samsung tablet just so i can get 'familiar' with the android o/s.

Its pretty good and its running ICS..but i have NO clue, NONE..zip.. on how to upgrade it to say jellybean. I'm more accustomed to iOS where updates are OTA.

but i have to say, i'm really diggin' the android !

Have you tried doing an official update?

Go to settings, about and software update. If that doesn't work then you have to go through Odin.

It's a third party software for your PC. It usually comes with the update you download online.

You can find your rom file at kda-developers.com or samsung-updates.com.

In terms of how to update, google how to flash new rom using odin and there should be a ton of tutorials online.

I just did and the first web page listed was pretty elaborate.
