Series premier was tonight. Did anyone watch? Thoughts on the beginning of series? I spoilered my thoughts in case someone is just watching it now or hasn't gotten around to it yet.

Just finished the episode, anyone have guesses (or know) who Wells is? I'm foreseeing good guy turned bad (discovered who he was through the link I posted. If you don't want to know, don't read!!!)... Also I was hoping for more Arrow in this than the 30 second cameo he had (I think I'm just impatient for tomorrow's season premier). Overall I think it was a great start to the season. I fully enjoy Grant Gustin as Flash, but I do wish he was more of a wise-cracking guy. Hoping that will come later in the series.

I know, I'm so excited! Stephen's been hyping it for the last few weeks on facebook and he showed a preview for it that hadn't been released (afaik) on tv yet. I can't wait!

I'm also excited to see how the series of Flash evolves, I've been looking at IMDB at future episodes to see what bad guys they're bringing in. I'm looking forward to Captain Cold and Grodd (if they have Grodd in the series).

"Reverse-flash" costume was released on twitter this morning. I'm really happy they're sticking as close to the story as possible with Flash.

I think the second episode is where they filmed some scenes in my building at UBC. They actually stored an ice sculpture in one of the cold rooms that was apparently shot up later. We got emails warning us to ignore the gunfire and explosions LOL!

I'm guessing Harrison Wells will take on the role of Darwin Elias? from the clip I saw he seemed like a scientist that is helping flash with the speed force but with his own motives (same as Elias)

I just saw a clip of the show and it seemed lame to me with that whole team of people who know who The Flash actually is.

it's okay. it's getting a little bit better with each episode.

they filmed the second episode at central city for the "matrix" scene with all the replicants in the office space, which was actually the sfu campus. they started setting up the fake workstations in the morning, filmed at night, and they were gone the next day. really fast. it was really weird because they didn't cordon anything off while they were setting up so i was able to go look at the props and see that the computers were real, etc.

I'm pretty sure Barry going back in time will reset everything. Cisco won't be dead and Barry will realize he can't tell Iris his secret and can't have a relationship with her.

Well that's what usually happens in these types of situation with time travel and major deaths/events.

Really? I really like Cisco, he's the most likeable character on the show imo. I would hate to see him killed off.

They posted a comic snapshot from next week on the Flash facebook page and Cisco was in it. So I'm not sure if it's a flashback or if somehow he doesn't die. But with all the time travelling stuff that's coming up now, I wouldn't be surprised if Future Barry goes back in time and prevents it from happening.

i forget which Q&A it came from, but it was mentioned it would have been in another earth timeline like you said, in which her fiance did die and there was no firestorm, and she loses it completely and becomes killer frost... is anyone here familiar with her character in the comics?

But if there was no Firestorm, there would be no Killer Frost. From what I've read about her, her sole existence is to exterminate Firestorm (or in Caitlin Snow's version, a cure to her powers).

Speaking of Firestorm, I'm kind of interested in what they're going to do with his character. Robbie Amell has hinted that he'll be back (I think they put Firestorm on the back burner because he's been working on the new X-Files show), but with the ending of the last episode... who knows. I still haven't figured out the colour change yet.

Haha a couple of the places I deliver to are near where they get the cop cars and prison trucks (they say Iron Heights on them, I giggle every time I go by) from. I love spotting them on the road.

Started Flash this long weekend and I am now all caught up. Actually liked Detective Patty Spivot with Barry better than Iris. Shantel VanSanten (Spivot) is gorgeous... too bad shes gone now.

It is so cool to see many parts of Vancouver in the tv series. I see my work building as part of the intro segment.

in one of the recent episodes with the runaway tanker i could see it was done in the side streets near powell/e. cordova/e. hastings ( you can see the street names in HD :lol )
