I'd suggest posting both the full url and the wrapped embed code, so the vids still work when the old embedding plugin works again.

Posting the full URL won't make a difference. When the plugin is enabled, it converts the URL to an embed tag in real time. If you post a URL when it's not enabled, it will always just be a URL.
