It's an electric scooter that runs on battery packs you cant charge at home. Yo have to got to one of there hubs to get a new pack. They plan on making money by renting battery packs to people. The scooter is there first product but will have more products down the road.

This sounds like a real bad idea to me.

Unless they have hubs absolutely everywhere that would be a massive pain.

Yep, unless there is a battery hub in EVERY petrol station this will become more inconvenient than the regular scoot.

If they want to make money via renting, simply rent out mini charging hubs and multiple batteries. I'm sure many will be more than happy to pay a monthly fee to have a 2 port charging hub with 3 swap-able batteries for a "always full" bike.

such a pain, if you run out juice in the middle of the HWY or some place dangerous... you have to abandon it to go get a battery.. come back to it only to have the bike STOLEN! stupid idea..
