For the last couple of hours it's been super laggy, going into HTML and 504 gateway timed out a few times.

Seems fine to me... Maybe it's just the cache server. Was it showing a Cloudflare error?

Yes, it was Cloud---something. Seems to be back to normal speed now.

Slow for the last 45 mins again. Got the occasional "page can't be displayed" and 504 but no HTML screen (yet).

Yes, cloudflare is disabled so it'll be better for now.. Waiting to hear back from them to see when I can turn it on again.

Because mods/admins don't help/support people for the thanks. We do it to help RS.

Hopefully this means that people will turn off adblockers for RS as it contributes to running RS.

I think you might have a problem with flash player or something. There are a lot of youtube videos on the last page

It's because people are posting huge GIFs. Chrome doesn't handle them well on big pages. We've known about this issue for a while.. Once a new page is made, it's fine.

If you let it sit until they're all loaded into memory, it becomes fast again. We'll have to look for a solution, but I'm not sure what that would be. Less posts per page would be the simplest.

I removed two 50 MB GIFs and the page should be better chrome now
