Hi everyone,

Just helping a friend with his 2012(I think) mitsubishi lancer,

he recently purchased it from a family member. Although not completely stock, he wants to make e a few more modifications. His current priority is to lower it about 3-4 inches, maybe even only 2. How much would this cost him? He was quoted $500-600 from someone he knew but he thinks he can get it for less.

What do you guys think?

Thanks in advance

The cost will depend on the method of lowering the vehicle. There's lowering springs that usually give a 2" drop, coilovers, or airbags. If he wants a large drop, coilovers are usually the best bet.

Springs are usually around $200-$300, coilovers range from $800-$1500, airbags even more expensive than that.

Was the quoted $500-$600 just labor? Or did it also include suspension components

labour or the spring? it should be $500 for labour and the lowering springs together.

I got a lancer, its on BC coilovers w/ swift springs ~1g

you can always get it for less....does your friend know how to install?

people won't do things for free bro. i think 500-600 installed is reasonable

what... what dynamics installation is around ~$3bills. But you would need alignment afterwards thats like ~$90
