Went to the Burnaby Club16 to sign up today and they wanted to charge me $100 registration fee and said the only way they can waive the fee is if someone refers me.

This might be a long shot but does anyone with a Club16 membership want to refer me? PM me if you can, thanks!

I would just walk out. You are giving them your business and they want to charge you an extra $100. There are tons of other gyms out there.

I have a membership at golds burnaby which i still plan to keep but i recently got a new job near the kingsway location and want to work out there during my lunch break.

There's also a club16 in Abbotsford. Just opened up though, so I don't think you need a referral to sign up there.
