Selling my 2000 Toyota Celica GT to get into something a bit bigger. Car is silver, with 251,xxx kms. Has rebuilt status due to an accident before I purchased the car. Car is in good shape and has lots of life left. Engine runs strong, and clutch/transmission are nice and stiff. AC, Heat, power windows/locks work well. Parked in underground garage.
In my opinion; for everyday driving, Celica GT's are better value than GT-S'. Some advantages of having a GT are that the engine does not require premium gas, and is more reliable than the GT-S since it is Corolla based. Parts are cheaper and easier to come by. Also engine torque is almost the same as GT-S, so acceleration feels brisk.
The car's modifications are as follows:
- Lowered on adjustable coilovers
- 17" Rims XXR 530 with slightly stretched tires. Lot's of grip left.
- 6000k HID kit
- CD/MP3 player with aux input.
- Keyless entry and alarm
- Polyurethane front lip
- Short antennae
- Replaced shift boot and shift knob
The car is 15 years old so the exterior/interior though kept well, shows signs of age. There are also a few scratches on the front bumper that were there when I purchased the car, not very noticeable. The car does not need anything and is a reliable daily driver. For the right price, The car will come with the following:
- Fresh oil change
- Spare set of rims and tires
- I can also throw in two subs and an amp if interested
