Hey guys I just need a recommendation for a place to take the GF tonight. We want to go to a chill, dark , cozy lounge type restaurant with a relaxed setting and decent food and drinks in Vancouver. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Tried searching a decent amount and was kind of hard to decipher what the establishment would be like.

This doesn't hit a lot of things on your list but I still have to recommend it because the food is awesome. Tuc Craft Kitchen in Gastown.

If you go, as a side appie, make sure to hit the bacon and egg. I know, doesn't sound special but wait until you have it. The rest of the food is amazing too and not expensive either.

Keg kinda of meets your criteria IMO. They have good appies too, be sure to check the smaller drink menu for appies not shown on the full menu.

If you wait until Saturday, I hear Centennial beach will be having a small thing with home cooked food, wine and snuggies. It's from 430-630. Not a lounge per say but it'll be romantic for sure.

didn't go for food. The ladyfriend wanted a desert and I just wanted a beer. Nice view from the bar on the upstairs.

One of the old bartenders I use to work with now works at pourhouse. He takes his job very seriosuly. I went there for some snacks and drinks and the guy can sure mix.
