Hi:
I'm a new forum member with an old Integra (owned since new, slightly modded). I read about RS on "g2ic.com".
I'm primarily interested in learning about maintenance and mods for my car; and good local sources for parts and service. I try to do as much of my own "wrench turning" as my building's parking garage rules will allow (rather limited); any "wet" work pretty much has to be done at a service facility.

Welcome.
Owned since new! Awesome. Ahhh g2ic. I used to have a 90 LS hatch and posted on there for years until I parted and sold it.

Hey yo
You ever considered throwing a 302 and a T5 in that Integra of yours?

Technically, I'm the second registered owner. My ex was the first. The car was registered to me when she bought something bigger, and I changed to a job that didn't provide a car. My new wife can't deal with the 5 spd (or the ACT clutch I installed) so I MAY give it up for a clean RSX with an automatic (unicorn hunt).

No.
I owned a '69 SS Camaro back in the day. LM1 with a reworked automatic. Brutal and fun, but "there's more to life than going fast in a straight line, son". RWD throttle steering is great, but NOT when it's your only way through a corner.

O Rly? Maybe you should give him a shout:ifyouknow:
I don't understand what's with this HANDLING addiction. If I drove from North Van to Langley, I make at most 10 turns lasting at most 1 minute in a whole 2 hour of driving.
So where else would handling benefit me?
I used to have a Mustang and everyone was like your car can't handle, but I never needed the handling performance.

VIN says "DA9". Must be a misprint . . .

You could find our Craigslist thread useful in your unicorn hunt.
Clean RSXs occasionally turn up in it.

Your VIN is correct. Only the GS-R is the DB2. The rest of the coupes are DA's.

Thanks. I am running GS-R 15" rims (w/Toyos) during the summer.
