Yes the 918 was there. Was also the i8, Alfa Romeo 4C, Z06 Corvette, Aventador, Huracan, New Rolls, 458, California, Hellcat Challenger and Charger, Mclaren 650s, Cayman GT4, Every M series, Audi has S3-S8 there, Ford had the new Edge and Explorer, basically everything you would like to see was there including a Monster Truck. But no P1

Just came back from the show. Great stuff overall, really love the fact they had exotics and vendors on the top floor so thats something fun to check out. Also love it that over the years there has been more access to higher end cars at the show (Jaguar F-type completely open, GTR, BMW i8 completely unlocked for you get inside among many others).

I think my favourite car there was the Jaguar F-Type. Its appearance in pictures and videos live up to the in person experience of seeing and sitting in it (can only imagine driving). Very comfortable inside with every detail from the dash to the gauges speaking excitement. I can't get enough of it.

Going in I have to say my biggest disappointment that I had high hopes for was the Lexus IS series. Its a beautiful from the outside and the interior looks great on photos but sitting in that cockpit you're just bombarded with cheap plastic everywhere in the center console. Wow was I surprised! In addition theres a huge bulge coming out from underneath the driver side where your right leg would be almost interfering if you had your foot on the gas - very awkward.

Anyways, looking forward to seeing other people's comments on what they saw this year.

I liked the new additions to the guests this year. There were a few magicians, drink makers, and a charlie Chaplin guy walking around. I am SUPER disappointed Honda didnt display ANY lawn mowers this year

Unlike previous years, I'm actually in the market for a new vehicle (some sort of crossover) so it was good because we were able to site in multiple vehicles and compare the interiors very easily. I got there at around 6pm and it was pretty slow, which was good for us because we didn't have to fight with other people to sit in cars.

The show has a lot more non-OEM stuff than previous years. And there's multiple bars now.

Here's my coverage of the show. Got media passes (thanks to JoshiE of Drive Marketing Group for the hookup) and was able to take pics without getting the crowds walking in front of me. Overall the show is definitely better than the last few shows but I still preferred it when it was at BC Place.

The magicians were a good addition, especially when I was waiting in line in the Ford Mustang simulator thing.

Thought it'd be pretty basic, and the first few tricks were. But his finale blew my mind. Anyone else see the Kiwi trick?

Just got back from the auto show haven't gone in a few years but it was pretty good! Decent set up on everything didn't like the people coming up and saying you want some "free" shit. But other then that it was pretty good.

A lot of nice cars was not impressed with the Mazda cx3 interior...the seats material looked like leather but didn't feel like leather at all. Kind of felt like weird stretchy material like what under armour shirts are made of or something. I'm hoping the North American version is not like that might have to find another ride...Q3 looked nice and so did the Benz cla. I know two different price spectrums but it is what it is.

No it wasn't. There was a GTS, a turbo S and the 918.
I sat in a new F-type which was surprisingly unappealing from the drivers seat. The interior on the f80 m3 was worlds ahead. Vette interior reminded my of my 7 year old GTI, and that was all that really interested me for the "unlocked" cars. Show was pretty good, much better than last year and overall well worth going.

Planning to go on Saturday afternoon. Last year they had Porsche and Mustang club meeting outside the convention center by Cactus club. lots of cars showed up.

there were a couple other porsches there, like an old 911 cab and a GT3 cup car, but I don't know how there is any possibility I could have missed the gt4 if it was there. Maybe I fainted when I saw it and wiped it out of my mind?:lawl:

I'm pretty sure there was no Cayman GT4 inside, as I looked for one as well. There is one white Cayman GTS, and then the other mixture of Porsches that you mention, all in the same area.

I finally tried the Ford Mustang driving game/simulator. Even on a weekday afternoon, I had to wait in line for 45 minutes, and then you get to drive one lap. I don't think I'll bother lining up for that again.
